AADE: Automatic updating of the Tax Register of anonymous companies for their changes in GEMI

In production from today, 11/10/2023, it sets the automatic updating of the Tax Registry with the changes of Anonymous Companies, through interoperability with General Commercial Register (GEMI), the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) by decision of the governor Giorgos Pitsilis.
In particular, it is no longer required to submit a declaration of change in Register data (Form D211) of the Limited Companies, for changes concerning:
- the share capital
- the expiration of the term
- the name, representation and status of the legal entity
as:
- the data entered in GEMI are drawn from the information systems, so that the Tax Registry is automatically updated and
- the legal entity receives an email from AADE, regarding the successful registration of all or part of its changes
In the event that it is not possible to automatically update the Tax Register, the Public Company is informed by e-mail of the need to submit a declaration of change.
The Joint Stock Companies from now on are not obliged to submit a declaration of change of operations nor for changes that relate to the distinctive title and type of their shares, as AADE will look for this information directly on the GEMI website.
George Pitsilis, AADE commander
“The start of interoperability between AADE and GEMI is a very important step in simplifying procedures and facilitating the everyday life of companies. And it is the result of many months of intensive cooperation with the Central Union of Chambers of Greece. We continue with determination to remove bureaucratic obstacles in the operation of the business, offering better and better digital services”.
Yiannis Masoutis, president of the Central Union of Chambers of Greece
“The Central Union of Chambers of Greece, the executives and the Board of Directors, collaborated with AADE in order to complete the interoperability system between GEMH and AADE. In the next period, our member companies will benefit from the upgrading of services that GEMH will offer overcoming years of bureaucratic obstacles that plagued Greek business“.
