VentureGarden: Start of new cycle of business idea accelerator

The new round of the free program of the business idea accelerator VentureGarden, in Thessaloniki has started. Those interested can submit their applications until October 15 2023 at www.venturegarden.gr.

VentureGarden is free to join and is for visionary and committed people who aspire to join the business ecosystem by creating their own business or growing already existing.

The number of places is limited and an evaluation process will follow for the selection of candidates. Those selected will have the opportunity to attend:

• intensive entrepreneurship workshops
• to receive mentoring and
• become part of a dynamic business community that is constantly growing

In Thessaloniki, the program is implemented by ACT (American College of Thessaloniki), a member of Anatolia College, with the kind donation of The Hellenic Initiative (THI) and the support of the company From Scratch.

The VentureGarden

program

Since the start of the program in February 2014, 644 people have been selected to attend the 19 previous cycles in Thessaloniki. Participants of previous cycles of the program have received funding to implement their ideas and have created thriving businesses, thanks to the support they received from the program.

Among the companies that stood out are Moov Exclusive Fitness Studio, a modern fitness and health space, Botanistas, Natural care products, Oratia, production of men’s and women’s organic cotton underwear, Elektronio, a sustainable urban mobility solutions startup, Ierax Anaytics, a market research and analysis company, Dot2dot, a cultural tours company.

Course Information

VentureGarden starts with an intensive and targeted training period. The lessons will be held in a classroom with physical presence throughout November every Monday and Wednesday 6pm-9pm. The training focuses on understanding all the aspects that govern the operation of a modern business, so that the business idea is applicable and sustainable. Educators are teachers and businessmen. After the completion of the courses, the participants who can benefit from the mentoring are selected.
