It was organized for the <sup>2nd<\/sup> consecutive year with selected companies of the <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/elevategreece.gov.gr\/el\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Elevate Greece<\/a>\n<\/strong> at the offices of <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/hdb.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Hellenic Development Bank<\/a>\n<\/strong>, HDB.<\/p>\n\n<p>The theme of the competition  <strong>HDB Innovation Challenge <\/strong>is the  <strong>development of<\/strong> a <strong>POC (Proof of Concept )<\/strong> to create a  <strong>sophisticated<\/strong> <strong>platform<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fundingwizard.arb.ca.gov\/web\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Funding Wizard<\/a>. <\/strong> This platform will  <strong>collects<\/strong> and will  <strong>automatically<\/strong> <strong>provides<\/strong> any kind of  <strong>information<\/strong> (continuously updated) on the  <strong>site<\/strong> of  <strong>HDB<\/strong>. The information will be provided by  <strong>electronically<\/strong> <strong>accessible<\/strong> <strong>resources<\/strong> in  <strong>global<\/strong> <strong>basis<\/strong> and will relate to the  <strong>ways of<\/strong> <strong>financing<\/strong> through  <strong>financial<\/strong> <strong>programmes<\/strong> managed by  <strong>public<\/strong> and  <strong>private<\/strong> <strong>entities<\/strong> including <strong>grants\/co-financing\/guarantees<\/strong> or a combination of both, based on a <strong>profile<\/strong> to be completed by each <strong>interested<\/strong> user.<\/p>\n\n<p>HDB&#8217;s goal is to support the creation of a solution that will become a <strong>benchmark for personalized search for financing programs<\/strong> that will save time and effort for all stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>companies of the national register of <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_type\/new-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">start-ups<\/a> Elevate Greece<\/strong> that presented their ideas in the final phase of the competition were:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Differend Business Solutions IKE<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quetri IT Solutions IKE<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The Evaluation Committee was composed of:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Panagiotis Leftereris, Director- Business Development and Support Corporate &amp; Investment Banking &#8211; National Bank of Greece<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dimitrios Verelis, Director &#8211; Development and sustainable banking &#8211; Piraeus Bank<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spyridon Redetakos Director- Small Business Banking Division-Alpha Bank<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dimitrios Karmiris, Director &#8211; Development and European programs Eurobank<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Angelos Tsakanikas, Associate Professor of Economic Evaluation of Innovation Technology Systems and Entrepreneurship Systems at the National Technical University of Athens, School of Chemical Engineering and Director of EBEO (Industrial and Energy Innovation Laboratory) (NTUA)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Panagiotis Papageorgiou, Director of Business Innovation, HDB<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Michael Golias, IT Director, HDB<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The <strong>results of<\/strong> the <strong>HDB Innovation Challenge <\/strong>are expected to be <strong>announced<\/strong> in the <strong>coming<\/strong> <strong>days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The final phase of the HDB Innovation Challenge took place on 24 November.
