For the third consecutive year, the Hellenic Initiative<\/a><\/strong> (The Hellenic Initiative – THI) has actively supported<\/strong> youth entrepreneurship in Greece<\/strong> through theVenture<\/strong> Impact Awards<\/strong> 2022<\/strong>(VIA). An institution that since 2020 has offered cash prizes worth a<\/strong> total of $535,000<\/strong> to 32<\/strong> organisations with a positive impact on Greek society and economy.<\/p>\n\n

VIA’s goal is to help dynamic start-ups<\/a><\/strong> grow. At the same time, however, to deepen their positive footprint<\/strong> in Greek society. Founding donors of the awards are the Helidoni Foundation<\/a><\/strong> and the Charles C. Condes<\/strong> Endowment. Funding<\/strong> is also provided by the Hellenic Initiative<\/strong>, the largest organization of Greeks in the Diaspora<\/a><\/strong> and administrator of the programme.<\/p>\n\n

Winners<\/strong> will be selected not only on the basis of their ability to be cost-effective<\/strong>, but also on how their activity translates into a humanitarian, social or environmental impact<\/strong>, while encouraging cooperation and promoting innovation.<\/p>\n\n

Interested parties can apply to the Venture Impact Awards until 20 November by following the \n link.<\/strong>\n<\/a><\/p>\n\n

VIA is the newest of the Hellenic Initiative’s programs such as Envolve Greece<\/strong>, Venture Garden<\/strong> and Athens Venture Fair<\/strong>. Programmes which since 2012<\/strong> have helped dynamic startups<\/strong> raise capital. At the same time, they received consulting services from experienced executives<\/strong> and expanded their presence in more markets.<\/p>\n\n

This year, the Hellenic Initiative welcomes Microsoft<\/strong> as a partner and donor to the Venture Impact Awards<\/strong>. As part of its overall support, Microsoft will also present<\/strong> its renewed platform<\/strong> for start-ups \n Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub<\/strong>\n<\/a>. A platform created to provide startup founders with the tools<\/strong> they need depending on their stage of maturity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In the framework of its cooperation with the Hellenic Initiative, the Microsoft<\/strong> will guide<\/strong> the winning startups in terms of how to access and use the privileges and benefits associated with Azure<\/strong> – through MfS FH among others will have the opportunity to unlock Azure credits worth up to 150.000<\/strong> dollars for four years.<\/p>\n\n

At the same time they will be able to use various Microsoft tools for the same four-year<\/strong> period such as:<\/p>\n\n
