{"id":9432,"date":"2023-02-28T15:49:45","date_gmt":"2023-02-28T15:49:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-espa.summerize.io\/sege-second-round-of-support-for-women-in-research\/"},"modified":"2023-08-28T07:15:37","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T07:15:37","slug":"sege-second-round-of-support-for-women-in-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/sege-second-round-of-support-for-women-in-research\/","title":{"rendered":"SEGE: Second round of support for women in research"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/sege-deuteros-kuklos-gia-tin-upostirixi-ton-gunaaikon-stin-erevna-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>After the completion of the first cycle of #Her_Research, the initiative of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sege.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hellenic Women Entrepreneurs Association<\/a><\/strong> (<strong>SEGE<\/strong>), which <strong>supports women researchers<\/strong>, is back.<\/p>\n\n<p>The self-financed by the  <strong>Association of Business Women of Greece<\/strong> &#8211; <strong> SEGE<\/strong> action #Her_Research, is a  an <strong>innovative and rewarding initiative<\/strong>, both for the <strong>members of the Association<\/strong> who are employed in the field of research and for <strong>women researchers who have not yet entered the field of entrepreneurship<\/strong> and whose activity is not already supported by other official actions, <strong>offering<\/strong> them <strong>substantial support<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The aim of the action is to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the empowerment of women researchers in <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/informatics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">terms of expertise<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>their access to finance<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the exchange of useful information and experience<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>facilitating their networking in the business world<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Thus, SEGE announces the <strong>launch of<\/strong> the 2nd cycle of the <strong>#Her_Research<\/strong> action. The action has the support of. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.betsson.gr\/el\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Betsson Greece<\/a><\/strong>, and invites all <strong>female researchers to register<\/strong>. This action, indicatively includes the following initiatives:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Three teams with substantial participation of women researchers<\/strong> will receive free support with the <strong>writing of research proposals<\/strong> for Horizon Europe or the corresponding Research Programme, by a specialised team of technical advisors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Five teams with substantial participation of women researchers<\/strong> will receive a <strong>free 5-hour full training and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/consultant-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">consultancy package<\/a><\/strong> from a specialised team of technical advisors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All participating researchers will participate in a <strong>2-hour specialised seminar<\/strong>. Topic will have research resources and include <strong>2 hours of group mentoring<\/strong> on this topic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The implementing body of the action is the SEGE.<\/p>\n\n<p>Upon completion of the programme, the beneficiaries will have acquired knowledge related to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>by design<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the management and<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the implementation of projects funded through the European financial instruments under the European Policy<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Interested parties must fill in the application form to be added to the list of interested parties for #Her_Research.  <strong>Deadline for applications is 7 December 2022<\/strong>.
