The platform will act as a <strong>link<\/strong> between <strong>businesses<\/strong> and <strong>banks<\/strong>. The <strong>aim is<\/strong> to help <strong>expand<\/strong> the <strong>perimeter of<\/strong> the <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/category_of_beneficiary\/businesses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>credit<\/strong> <strong>capable<\/strong> <strong>.<\/strong><\/a> (bankable).<\/p>\n\n<p>This <strong>was announced by the CEO of the Hellenic Development Bank &#8211; HDB Athina Hadjipetrou<\/strong>, at the Annual Partner Event of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) &#8220;Accelerating Evolution&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is noted that on the same issue, a few days ago, the Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis, had stated:<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>The aim is to double the number of businesses that can access bank lending, from 40,000 to 80,000.<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3BF;&#x3B9;-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3CC;&#x3C7;&#x3BF;&#x3B9;-&#x3C4;&#x3BF;&#x3C5;-know-your-customer-&#x3B1;&#x3C0;&#x3CC;-&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3BD;-&#x3B5;&#x3BB;&#x3BB;&#x3B7;&#x3BD;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3AE;-&#x3B1;&#x3BD;&#x3B1;&#x3C0;&#x3C4;&#x3C5;&#x3BE;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;&#x3BA;&#x3AE;-&#x3C4;&#x3C1;&#x3AC;&#x3C0;&#x3B5;&#x3B6;&#x3B1;\"><strong>The objectives of Know your Customer by the Hellenic Development Bank<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In the panel on &#8220;<strong>Investing in Digital Economy<\/strong>&#8220;, Ms. Hadjipetrou mentioned among others:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>HDB&#8217;s innovative financing tools for SMEs<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The need for SMEs to adopt <a href=\"https:\/\/krs.gr\/2023\/04\/21\/esg-ti-einai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">ESG criteria<\/a>, not only for growth but for their survival, describing ESG as a &#8220;survival kit&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>HDB&#8217;s support to SMEs with a new <a href=\"https:\/\/hdb.gr\/esg-tracker-by-hdb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">ESG tracker<\/a> application that will allow SMEs to see what stage of sustainable development they are at, i.e. it will act as an &#8220;ESG self-assessment&#8221; for the entrepreneur<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In the digital transformation of HDB<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>To HDB&#8217;s contribution to the expansion of bankable businesses with the KYC platform that will be readily available in the market<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>&#8220;The new pioneering <strong>Know your Customer<\/strong> platform will act as a <strong>link<\/strong> between <strong>businesses<\/strong> and <strong>banks<\/strong>,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>Know your Customer<\/strong> platform will act as a link between businesses and banks. In other words <strong>the opportunity<\/strong>, it will be <strong>offered<\/strong> &#8211; through the <strong>HDB<\/strong> &#8211; to <strong>businesses<\/strong> that want to be financed to <strong>submit<\/strong>, <strong>one<\/strong> <strong>time<\/strong> , the <strong>data<\/strong> and <strong>documents<\/strong> that will <strong>certify<\/strong> to the partner institutions their <strong>currency<\/strong>, <strong>creditworthiness<\/strong> and <strong>business<\/strong> <strong>plan<\/strong> for their <strong>eligibility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>HDB<\/strong>&#8216;s goal is to <strong>continue to facilitate access to finance<\/strong> for <strong>start-ups<\/strong> <strong>buissness<\/strong>,&#8221; concluded Ms Hadjipetrou.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Know your Customer (KYC) platform will be immediately available on the market Hellenic Development Bank &#8211; HDB .
