On, Monday, November 7, 2022 at 13:00<\/strong>, the submission of online applications<\/strong> by businesses for the second cycle of the labour subsidy programme for the recruitment of 3,400 unemployed, former employees of businesses in the regions of Western Macedonia and Peloponnese of \u0394\u03a5\u03a0\u0391<\/strong>, affected by the effects of de-lignification, begins.<\/p>\n\n

The deadline for applications is 21 December at 15:00.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The programme has a total budget of ECU 48 million. euros<\/strong> co-funded by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund<\/a><\/strong>), through the OP “Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020<\/a><\/strong>” and is addressed to companies operating in the Region of Western Macedonia and the Municipalities of Megalopolis, Tripoli, Gortynia, Sparta, Oichalia and Kalamata<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Beneficiaries are unemployed persons<\/a> registered in the unemployment register of \u0394\u03a5\u03a0\u0391<\/strong> who have been employed for any period of time from 1\/1\/2019 onwards:<\/p>\n\n

  1. In the field of energy<\/a><\/strong> (PPC). Former temporary staff of PPC or formerly employed by PPC contractors<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In the transport<\/strong> and earthmoving sector related to lignite mining<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In enterprises active in the field of wholesale<\/a><\/strong> and retail trade<\/a><\/strong>, the catering <\/a><\/strong>and in the the tourism sector<\/a><\/strong>, as well as<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. In other enterprises<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    The duration of the programme is 12-18 months<\/strong>. The part of salary and contribution subsidy<\/strong> ranges between 75-100%<\/strong>. The amount of the subsidy<\/strong> ranges from \u20ac700 to \u20ac933 per month<\/strong> and from \u20ac8,397 to \u20ac16,794 in total<\/strong>, depending on the category of the unemployed person and the sector of the company they worked in. On the subsidisation<\/strong> of wage and non-wage costs Holiday gifts and holiday allowance are included.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    Businesses interested in participating in the programme, submit their application exclusively online through the State Aid Information System (SSI) of the Ministry of Development & Investments at the following address: http:\/\/www.ependyseis.gr<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

    Then, the employment consultants of \u0394\u03a5\u03a0\u0391 nominate candidates to the company, according to the specialty and the required qualifications, and the company selects among the candidates for recruitment.<\/p>\n\n
