{"id":9068,"date":"2023-01-17T13:06:19","date_gmt":"2023-01-17T13:06:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-espa.summerize.io\/development-bank-new-financing-tools-for-businesses\/"},"modified":"2023-08-25T01:36:05","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T01:36:05","slug":"development-bank-new-financing-tools-for-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/development-bank-new-financing-tools-for-businesses\/","title":{"rendered":"Development Bank: New financing tools for businesses"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/anaptyxiaki-trapeza-nea-hrimatodotika-ergaleia-gia-tis-epixeiriseis-1024x555.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong>The design of new financing tools for investments in businesses up to 20 million euros<\/strong>  will proceed in the autumn <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/hdb.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Hellenic Development Bank<\/a>\n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>As the Director-General of the West Souyoutzoglou during a special presentation to the management of the Athens Chamber of Crafts (BEA) the new programs will be directed <strong>to three pillars:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Green growth even for the purchase of mechanical equipment<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digital upgrade of technological equipment of enterprises<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>General investments <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>As he initially pointed out, the <strong>Hellenic Development Bank<\/strong> S.A. (formerly ETEAN), <strong>is now being introduced<\/strong> to businesses, as the connecting link in the financial cycle of financing, between the small and medium-sized enterprise and the commercial bank. It <strong>bears that part of the business risk that the bank cannot bear.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>With evidence cited by Mr. Sougioutzoglou, in 2020 the Development Bank <strong>gave 40% of all loans to the market and in 2021, 25%.<\/strong> Totally <strong>8 billion in lending products.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Businesses<\/strong> through Development<strong>, ensure cheaper borrowing<\/strong>, due to low interest rates. This is because the <strong>Development Bank has state resources and does not aim for business profit<\/strong>. Indicatively, in a loan from the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.antagonistikotita.gr\/tepix\/index.asp?id=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Entrepreneurship Fund<\/a><\/strong> (TEPIX II) program, <strong>commercial banks cover 60% and Development, 40%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Then, Mr. Sougioutzoglou, presented the Bank&#8217;s new products, such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/hdb.gr\/tameio-eggiodosias-daneion-epixeiriseon-paragogis-optikoakoustikon-ergon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Loan Guarantee Fund for Audiovisual Production Companies<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>to provide a guarantee on loans through the cooperating Banks<\/strong>, in order to give access to finance to small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the audiovisual production industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/hdb.gr\/tameio-eggyodosias-kainotomias\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Innovation Guarantee Fund<\/a><\/strong>, which is the first financial instrument aimed at supporting <strong>innovative <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_type\/new-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">start-ups<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_type\/established-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">existing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_size\/very-small\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Micro<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_size\/small\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Small<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_size\/medium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Medium<\/a> Enterprises (SMEs)<\/strong>, for the first time, with <strong>a loan guarantee and a grant of 20% of the borrowed capital.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/calendly.com\/randevou-espa-news\/15min?month=2022-03\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The design of new financing tools for investments in businesses up to 20 million euros will proceed in the autumn Hellenic Development Bank .
