A new Digital Skills Partnership<\/strong> has been set up by European Union associations, companies, organisations, trade unions, trade unions, universities, training providers and national federations with the support of the European Commission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

This new partnership will make it possible upskilling and reskilling of workers<\/strong>.At the same time it will attract more people to the digital industry.<\/strong>The partnership will help citizens and businesses acquire the necessary digital skills.<\/strong> Skills that will contribute to the achieving the objectives of the digital and green transitions<\/strong> of the European economy. It will focus primarily on improving the skills of the digital partners’ workforce.<\/strong> Subsequently, the partners will develop common objectives<\/strong>. For example, on the number of people who will be re-employed, and monitor future developments in terms of upgrading digital skills<\/a>; and <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

reskilling.<\/strong> Following commitments to other industrial ecosystems, this new partnership is part of the Pact for Skills,<\/strong> one of the flagship initiatives under the European Skills Agenda. The new partnership will work closely with other existing partnerships in other areas<\/strong> where digital skills play a prominent role. It will seek synergies and cooperation with other existing initiatives (such as the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition or the Network of European Digital Innovation Hubs)to use existing best practices and guidance as inspiration for the partnership.<\/strong> The Pact for Skills contributes to one of the three EU social objectives<\/strong> set out in the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan, namely at least 60% of all adults to participate in training every year by 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

It will also inspire others \u2013 whether in the digital or any other industrial ecosystem \u2013 to turn digital opportunities into successful business models<\/strong> for the benefit of both citizens and businesses.”<\/p>\n\n
