{"id":8973,"date":"2023-01-11T14:31:56","date_gmt":"2023-01-11T14:31:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-espa.summerize.io\/eit-food-new-womens-entrepreneurship-programme-with-networking-and-funding-opportunities\/"},"modified":"2023-08-22T09:26:13","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T09:26:13","slug":"eit-food-new-womens-entrepreneurship-programme-with-networking-and-funding-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/eit-food-new-womens-entrepreneurship-programme-with-networking-and-funding-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"EIT Food: New Women&#8217;s Entrepreneurship Programme with networking and funding opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/eit-food-neo-programma-gia-ti-gynaikeia-epixeirimatikotita-me-eukairies-diktyosis-kai-hrimatodotisis-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The European <strong>Institute of Innovation and Technology-Food (EIT Food)<\/strong> and <strong>Industry<\/strong> <strong>Disruptors<\/strong> <strong>Game<\/strong> <strong>Changers (<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/industrydisruptors.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\n  <strong>IDGC<\/strong>\n<\/a><strong>)<\/strong>, in collaboration with the <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/facagro.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Future Agro Challenge<\/a>\n<\/strong>, announce the launch of the <strong>Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA)<\/strong> programme <strong>,<\/strong> which <strong>supports women entrepreneurs<\/strong> in the <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/processing-of-agricultural-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">agri-food sector<\/a>\n<\/strong> in Greece. The programme is addressed to  <strong>women entrepreneurs or holders of a business idea<\/strong>  employed in the  <strong>the agri-food sector<\/strong>. It is an accelerator of ideas that  <strong>already counts three years of implementation in Europe with great success<\/strong>  in previous cycles, while  <strong>in Greece operates for the second consecutive year<\/strong>  in order to support with personalised training, networking and funding  <strong>ten (10) women<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Industry Disruptors<\/strong> continue to have as a <strong>priority the creation of an extrovert ecosystem in the agri-food sector<\/strong> that encourages and highlights innovative entrepreneurship on a global scale. In this context, they are implementing this project for the second year. It was set up with the aim of  <strong>strengthening Europe&#8217;s capacity to develop innovation<\/strong>. The<strong>  EIT<\/strong>  promotes innovation by linking business with academic education and scientific research to develop solutions that address urgent global environmental challenges. EIT Food is one of the 8 EIT Innovation Communities (Climate, Innovation Communities, Digital, Health, InnoEnergy, Manufacturing, RawMaterials, UrbanMobility) and focuses on innovation in the food sector.
