From today, Tuesday 19-7-2022 at 18:00<\/strong>, the electronic submission of applications for the admission of students to the seven Experimental Vocational Schools (PEPAS) of Apprenticeship of DYPA<\/strong>, for the school year 2022\/23 in three specialties in the field of tourism and hospitality<\/a>, begins.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Specifically, the route is: gov.gr \u2192 Education \u2192 Enrollment in a school \u2192 Enrollment in an experimental vocational school of DYPA.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Eligible to apply are those who are 18 years of age or older, holders of a High School Diploma or other equivalent or higher degree.<\/strong> For the specialty “Hotel Receptionist”,<\/strong> a good knowledge of a foreign language (English or French or German) is required.<\/strong> For specialties “Culinary Art Technician” & “Food Technician”<\/strong> is desirable a good knowledge of a foreign language.<\/strong> The Experimental EPAS operate in 7 cities (Athens, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Crete, Mytilene, Patras and Rhodes)<\/strong> and apply the dual system of education that combines theoretical and laboratory training with Apprenticeship (learning in the workplace with pay and insurance) in companies. The theoretical part is implemented in the Schools<\/strong> from November to April, while the Apprenticeship in business will take place from May to October.<\/strong> The remuneration<\/strong> of students corresponds to \u20ac25.27 for each day of on-the-job apprenticeship, lasting a total of 12 months.<\/strong> The cooperation of DYPA with the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Institute of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (INSETE), which have extensive experience in the field of Vocational Education and Tourism, guarantees the placement of all apprentices in Apprenticeship positions in distinguished enterprises of the Tourism industry<\/strong> (4 & 5 star hotels), while enhancing, at the same time, the prospect of their professional rehabilitation,<\/strong> after completing studies.<\/p>\n\n
