JTF support will also aim at:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the energy transition<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>land use adaptation and the circular economy<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>energy upgrades<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>enhancing self-generation through energy communities<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>renewable energy sources<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>electromobility and energy storage systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B4;&#x3CD;&#x3BF;-&#x3B4;&#x3C1;&#x3AC;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;&#x3C2;-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3C1;&#x3B1;&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3B3;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3AE;&#x3C2;-&#x3C3;&#x3B7;&#x3BC;&#x3B1;&#x3C3;&#x3AF;&#x3B1;&#x3C2;-&#x3B1;&#x3C0;&#x3CC;-&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3BD;-&#x3BA;&#x3BF;&#x3BC;&#x3B9;&#x3C3;&#x3B9;&#x3CC;&#x3BD;\"> <strong>\u0394\u03cd\u03bf \u03b4\u03c1\u03ac\u03c3\u03b5\u03b9\u03c2 \u03c3\u03c4\u03c1\u03b1\u03c4\u03b7\u03b3\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae\u03c2 \u03c3\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1\u03c3\u03af\u03b1\u03c2<\/strong> <strong>\u03b1\u03c0\u03cc \u03c4\u03b7\u03bd \u039a\u03bf\u03bc\u03b9\u03c3\u03b9\u03cc\u03bd<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Two actions of strategic importance are also part of the programme:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the &#8220;Innovation Zone&#8221; of Western Macedonia, a central body for the development of infrastructure and actions for innovative entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The &#8220;360\u00b0 Bioeconomy Hub&#8221; in the municipalities of Megalopolis, Gortynia, Oichalia and Tripoli aims to transform business activity across the entire bioeconomy value chain (agri-food, circular and digital economy)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B9;&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3BF;&#x3C1;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3CC;\"><strong>History <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>The JTF supports the regions most affected by the transition towards a climate-neutral economy.<\/strong> The identification of these areas is included in the territorial just transition plans and <strong>is carried out through a dialogue with the Commission in the context of the negotiations of the 2021\/27 Partnership Agreements and related programmes.<\/strong> The territorial just transition plans, developed in close consultation with local partners, <strong>set out the challenges in each region, as well as the development needs and targets<\/strong> to be achieved by 2030. They shall also identify the types of actions envisaged alongside specific governance mechanisms.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3BA;&#x3BF;&#x3BC;&#x3B9;&#x3C3;&#x3B9;&#x3CC;&#x3BD;-&#x3BC;&#x3B7;&#x3C7;&#x3B1;&#x3BD;&#x3B9;&#x3C3;&#x3BC;&#x3CC;&#x3C2;-&#x3B4;&#x3AF;&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-&#x3BC;&#x3B5;&#x3C4;&#x3AC;&#x3B2;&#x3B1;&#x3C3;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;\"><strong>\u039a\u03bf\u03bc\u03b9\u03c3\u03b9\u03cc\u03bd &#8211;<\/strong> <strong>\u039c\u03b7\u03c7\u03b1\u03bd\u03b9\u03c3\u03bc\u03cc\u03c2 \u0394\u03af\u03ba\u03b1\u03b9\u03b7\u03c2 \u039c\u03b5\u03c4\u03ac\u03b2\u03b1\u03c3\u03b7\u03c2<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The approval of the territorial just transition plans <strong>opens the door for dedicated funding<\/strong> under the two other pillars of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/programmata\/dikaii-anaptixiaki-metavasi-anaptixiako\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Just Transition Mechanism<\/a><\/strong> (JTM):<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>a just transition scheme under <a href=\"https:\/\/investeu.europa.eu\/index_el\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">InvestEU<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u03bc\u03b9\u03b1 \u03b4\u03b1\u03bd\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1\u03ba\u03ae \u03b4\u03b9\u03b5\u03c5\u03ba\u03cc\u03bb\u03c5\u03bd\u03c3\u03b7 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 \u03b4\u03b7\u03bc\u03cc\u03c3\u03b9\u03bf\u03c5 \u03c4\u03bf\u03bc\u03ad\u03b1 \u03b3\u03b9\u03b1 \u03b4\u03af\u03ba\u03b1\u03b9\u03b7 \u03bc\u03b5\u03c4\u03ac\u03b2\u03b1\u03c3\u03b7 \u03c0\u03bf\u03c5 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bd\u03b4\u03c5\u03ac\u03b6\u03b5\u03b9 \u03b5\u03c0\u03b9\u03c7\u03bf\u03c1\u03b7\u03b3\u03ae\u03c3\u03b5\u03b9\u03c2 \u03c4\u03b7\u03c2 \u0395\u03c0\u03b9\u03c4\u03c1\u03bf\u03c0\u03ae\u03c2 \u03bc\u03b5 \u03b4\u03ac\u03bd\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1 \u03c4\u03b7\u03c2 \u0395\u03c5\u03c1\u03c9\u03c0\u03b1\u03ca\u03ba\u03ae\u03c2 \u03a4\u03c1\u03ac\u03c0\u03b5\u03b6\u03b1\u03c2 \u0395\u03c0\u03b5\u03bd\u03b4\u03cd\u03c3\u03b5\u03c9\u03bd<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The JTM is a key tool to <strong>ensure that the transition towards a climate-neutral economy takes place in a fair way,<\/strong> leaving no one behind. The Facility provides targeted support to<strong>mobilise around 55 billion euros in 2021\/27<\/strong> in the most affected regions, t<strong>o mitigate the socio-economic impact of the transition.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Commission approved the Partnership Agreement with Greece in July 2021. <strong>\u03a0\u03c1\u03cc\u03ba\u03b5\u03b9\u03c4\u03b1\u03b9 \u03b3\u03b9\u03b1 \u03c4\u03b7\u03bd \u03c0\u03c1\u03ce\u03c4\u03b7 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bc\u03c6\u03c9\u03bd\u03af\u03b1 \u03c0\u03bf\u03c5 \u03b5\u03b3\u03ba\u03c1\u03af\u03b8\u03b7\u03ba\u03b5 \u03bc\u03b5\u03c4\u03b1\u03be\u03cd \u03c4\u03c9\u03bd 27 \u03ba\u03c1\u03b1\u03c4\u03ce\u03bd-\u03bc\u03b5\u03bb\u03ce\u03bd<\/strong>. \u0397 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bc\u03c6\u03c9\u03bd\u03af\u03b1 \u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u03b9\u03bb\u03b1\u03bc\u03b2\u03ac\u03bd\u03b5\u03b9 \u03c3\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1\u03bd\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ad\u03c2 \u03b5\u03c0\u03b5\u03bd\u03b4\u03cd\u03c3\u03b5\u03b9\u03c2 -30 % \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/regional_policy\/en\/funding\/erdf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u0395\u03c5\u03c1\u03c9\u03c0\u03b1\u03ca\u03ba\u03bf\u03cd \u03a4\u03b1\u03bc\u03b5\u03af\u03bf\u03c5 \u03a0\u03b5\u03c1\u03b9\u03c6\u03b5\u03c1\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1\u03ba\u03ae\u03c2 \u0391\u03bd\u03ac\u03c0\u03c4\u03c5\u03be\u03b7\u03c2<\/a><\/strong> \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 55 % \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/regional_policy\/el\/funding\/cohesion-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u03a4\u03b1\u03bc\u03b5\u03af\u03bf\u03c5 \u03a3\u03c5\u03bd\u03bf\u03c7\u03ae\u03c2<\/a><\/strong>&#8211; \u03c3\u03c4\u03b7\u03bd \u03b5\u03bd\u03b5\u03c1\u03b3\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1\u03ba\u03ae \u03b1\u03c0\u03cc\u03b4\u03bf\u03c3\u03b7 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u03c4\u03b7 \u03bc\u03b5\u03af\u03c9\u03c3\u03b7 \u03c4\u03c9\u03bd \u03b5\u03ba\u03c0\u03bf\u03bc\u03c0\u03ce\u03bd \u03b1\u03b5\u03c1\u03af\u03bf\u03c5 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 \u03b8\u03b5\u03c1\u03bc\u03bf\u03ba\u03b7\u03c0\u03af\u03bf\u03c5.<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to the JTF programme, <strong>two other cohesion policy programmes are also adopted.<\/strong> Programmes linked to the Partnership Agreement:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the &#8220;Competitiveness Programme&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the &#8220;Civil Protection Programme&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>At the request of the Greek authorities<\/strong>, the Commission provided tailor-made technical expertise <strong>to prepare the territorial just transition plan<\/strong>, build capacity for its effective implementation and design its governance system.
