The main objective, as a technology startup tourism accelerator, is to offer <strong>essential support and guidance through the free content-rich programme<\/strong>, which responds to the business needs of startups. At the same time to provide practical opportunities for training, interface with the industry &#8211; with owners, executives and representatives of hotels and tourism businesses. Also provide useful tools on how <strong>they can be upgraded to meet market requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>More specifically, the Acceleration Programme is offered to the selected teams <strong>free<\/strong> of charge and <strong>without any other financial requirement<\/strong> (e.g. equity or shares from their company). Its duration is <strong>5 months<\/strong>. During this period the selected <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_type\/new-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">start-ups<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; in addition to their participation in the programme &#8211; <strong>can use the accelerator&#8217;s office space free of charge<\/strong>. It is possible to extend the period of their use for an <strong>additional 3 months<\/strong> after the end of the programme.<\/p>\n\n<p>The programme includes actions such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>workshops\/seminars (workshops)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>mentoring meetings (mentoring)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>An important part is also, <strong>\u03bf\u03b9 \u03b5\u03c5\u03ba\u03b1\u03b9\u03c1\u03af\u03b5\u03c2 \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03bf\u03c5\u03c3\u03b9\u03ac\u03c3\u03b5\u03c9\u03bd \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u03bf\u03b9 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bd\u03b1\u03bd\u03c4\u03ae\u03c3\u03b5\u03b9\u03c2 \u03bc\u03b5 \u03c3\u03c4\u03b5\u03bb\u03ad\u03c7\u03b7 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5\u03c1\u03b9\u03c3\u03bc\u03bf\u03cd<\/strong> (meetups), <strong>visits to hotels and leading travel agencies<\/strong> (on-site visits), but also <strong>networking activities through attendance at networking events<\/strong>. \u039a\u03c1\u03b9\u03c4\u03ae\u03c1\u03b9\u03b1 \u03b1\u03be\u03b9\u03bf\u03bb\u03cc\u03b3\u03b7\u03c3\u03b7\u03c2<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The evaluation criteria, which are examined in detail by the Accelerator&#8217;s jury and must be derived from the entire application in order for a startup to join the Accelerator Program, are:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>idea<\/strong> in terms of its innovation and the solution offered to a problem of the tourism market, the degree of originality and uniqueness of this solution, as well as the degree of use of technology for its implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>team<\/strong> in relation to its members in terms of their formal characteristics, their qualitative characteristics, as well as their perception and commitment to the implementation and expansion of their team\/company in the market.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>business maturity and prospects of the product or service in terms<\/strong> of its potential for further growth and expansion in the Greek and global market and its profitability prospects.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3C7;&#x3C1;&#x3B7;&#x3BC;&#x3B1;&#x3C4;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3AC;-&#x3AD;&#x3C0;&#x3B1;&#x3B8;&#x3BB;&#x3B1;-&#x3AD;&#x3C9;&#x3C2;-40-000-&#x3B5;&#x3C5;&#x3C1;&#x3CE;\"><strong>Cash prizes up to \u20ac40,000<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>At the end of the fifth Acceleration cycle, companies compete for final prizes totalling \u20ac40,000 &#8211;
