Launched on 22 December 2016 and managed by the <strong>European Investment Fund,<\/strong> the euro in Greece aims to boost entrepreneurship and create a lasting impact on local businesses. This is the first time that the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) and EFSI are combined in Greece.<\/p>\n\n<p>As part of this new programme, the EIF wants to invest in Venture Capital and Private Equity fund managers in the private sector, focusing on Greek companies but with the whole of Europe in mind.
