According to economy ministry officials, this decision was taken in order to give investors time to gather the required documents to submit the application for inclusion of their investment plan.<\/p>\n\n

Based on the latest information, by Friday, December 2, only 98 investment projects had been submitted for inclusion in the Development Fund. 14% of them concerned tourism investments, while 1,388 interested investors had “opened” a “share” in the information system. Of these 1,388, of practical interest, i.e. an application for affiliation to the Development Fund, it is estimated that about 600 will be submitted.<\/p>\n\n

At the same time, there are problems with the partial payment of aid under the old Development Law. The issuance of a relevant Ministerial Decision has been delayed. This should have been issued no later than two months after the law was passed, i.e. by the end of August. The problem will be solved, according to government officials, within the next few days.<\/p>\n\n

Specifically with art. 77 of the new Development Law, it is possible to provide an advance payment for investment projects that have been subject to the provisions of the Law. 3908\/2011, and for an amount which may not exceed 1\/7 of the grant provided for in the relevant decision on inclusion.<\/p>\n\n
