That&#8217;s why we chose to follow the example of other countries and create an online registry ourselves.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B5;&#x3B3;&#x3B3;&#x3C1;&#x3B1;&#x3C6;&#x3AE;-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3BF;-online-&#x3C8;&#x3B7;&#x3C6;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;&#x3BA;&#x3CC;-&#x3BC;&#x3B7;&#x3C4;&#x3C1;&#x3CE;&#x3BF;-&#x3B3;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;-&#x3C4;&#x3B9;&#x3C2;-startup\"><strong>Registration in the online digital register for startups<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In order to <strong>register in the online digital register<\/strong>, businesses must necessarily meet the following two criteria:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>have an innovative activity and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have growth prospects in both Greek and international markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Since there is no <strong>specific definition of what makes a startup business<\/strong>, registration will be done in two ways:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The first way concerns <strong>companies that have already received funding from investment funds<\/strong> specializing in Venture Capital Funds. The registration of these companies will be virtually automatic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The second way is the <strong>evaluation by a Special Committee<\/strong>, which will be composed of ecosystem actors (VCs executives, consultants, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>\u03a4\u03bf <strong>\u03bc\u03b7\u03c4\u03c1\u03ce\u03bf \u03bd\u03b5\u03bf\u03c6\u03c5\u03ce\u03bd (startup) \u03b5\u03c0\u03b9\u03c7\u03b5\u03b9\u03c1\u03ae\u03c3\u03b5\u03c9\u03bd<\/strong> \u03b5\u03af\u03bd\u03b1\u03b9 \u03c3\u03c7\u03b5\u03b4\u03cc\u03bd \u03ad\u03c4\u03bf\u03b9\u03bc\u03bf \u03bd\u03b1 \u03c4\u03b5\u03b8\u03b5\u03af \u03c3\u03b5 \u03bb\u03b5\u03b9\u03c4\u03bf\u03c5\u03c1\u03b3\u03af\u03b1 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u03b8\u03b1 \u03ad\u03c7\u03b5\u03b9 \u03c4\u03b7\u03bd \u03bf\u03bd\u03bf\u03bc\u03b1\u03c3\u03af\u03b1 <strong>ElevateGreece<\/strong> (<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/elevategreece.gov.gr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">elevategreece.gov.gr<\/a><\/strong>). Final tests are currently underway and are expected to start operating within the next month.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3BA;&#x3AD;&#x3BD;&#x3C4;&#x3C1;&#x3BF;-&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;&#x3BD;&#x3BF;&#x3C4;&#x3BF;&#x3BC;&#x3AF;&#x3B1;&#x3C2;-&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-&#x3B1;&#x3B8;&#x3AE;&#x3BD;&#x3B1;&#x3C2;\"><strong>Athens Innovation Center<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In the meantime, the procedures of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project for the creation of the innovation center in Athens are progressing. The project <strong>has a budget of \u20ac58.5 million. euros<\/strong>, was approved last Friday by the Interministerial PPP Committee and the first phase of the tender is now being prepared, which is expected to be announced within the next two months.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>Innovation Center<\/strong> will be created on the old property of CHROPEI on Pireos Street with the aim of hosting start-ups, as well as R&amp;D departments of enterprises and large industries, in order to enhance synergies within the domestic ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B9;&#x3C4;&#x3AC;&#x3C7;&#x3C5;&#x3BD;&#x3C3;&#x3B7;-&#x3B4;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;&#x3B4;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3C3;&#x3B9;&#x3CE;&#x3BD;-one-stop-shop\"><strong>Speeding up | procedures one-stop-shop<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Along with the strengthening of the <strong>startup<\/strong> ecosystem, <strong>the creation of &#8220;one-stop-shop points&#8221;<\/strong> for startups is progressing.
