The new NSRF 2021\/27<\/strong> has been approved by the European Commission, with Greece becoming the first country to receive approval for the \n Partnership Pact for Regional Development<\/a>\n<\/strong>, as the Commission notes in a Twitter post.<\/p>\n\n

The resources from the new NSRF 2021\/27<\/strong> amount to 26,2 Billion euros<\/strong> This is more than in the previous programme for 2014\/20, which amounted to EUR 23 billion. euro.<\/p>\n\n

Of the \u20ac26.2 billion \u20ac20.9 billion euros come from the EU contribution<\/strong> and in particular from the \n European Regional Development Fund<\/a>\n<\/strong> <\/a>(ERDF), the \n Cohesion Fund<\/a>\n<\/strong> (CF), the \n European Social Fund<\/a>\n<\/strong> (ESF+), the \n Fair Transition Fund<\/a>\n<\/strong> (TDM) and the \n European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund<\/a>\n<\/strong> (EMFF), while the remaining 5.3 billion euros will relate to the National Contribution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Key features for the new NSRF 2021\/27<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

  1. Linked to the European Semester and the Commission’s recommendations for co-financed programmes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Supports other National Strategies and Enabling Conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Supports the new Just Transition Fund (lignite regions and islands)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. The National Reform Programme and Growth Plan for the Greek Economy follows (Pissarides Committee Report)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Follows the restrictions of the European Regulations on thematic concentrations and exceeds the minimum percentages<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Main changes compared to the previous NSRF 2014\/20<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

    \u2022 An increase of \u20ac2.2 billion \u20ac for the 13 RIPs from the NSRF 2014\/20 (from \u20ac 5.9 billion to \u20ac 8.1 billion)\u2022 Distinct Programme for Civil Protection and new Managing Authority\u2022 Distinct Just Transition Programme and new Managing Authority\u2022 Distinct Programme for the Environment, Climate Change and Energy\u2022 New Competitiveness Programme with actions to support businesses\u2022 Strengthening and upgrading the Technical Support Program for the institutional and management capacity of beneficiaries and implementing bodies (Capacity Building)\u2022 Optimization of the management and coordination framework for the co-funded Programs<\/p>\n\n
