{"id":7927,"date":"2022-11-29T10:53:10","date_gmt":"2022-11-29T10:53:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-espa.summerize.io\/elevate-greece-pfizer-contest-patient-centered-innovation\/"},"modified":"2023-08-23T11:39:50","modified_gmt":"2023-08-23T11:39:50","slug":"elevate-greece-pfizer-contest-patient-centered-innovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/elevate-greece-pfizer-contest-patient-centered-innovation\/","title":{"rendered":"Elevate Greece \u2013 Pfizer contest: Patient-centered innovation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/diagonismos-elevate-greece-pfizer-kainotomia-me-epikentro-ton-asthenh-1024x440.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>A competition for startups that looks forward to highlighting patient-centered innovation, announced by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/elevategreece.gov.gr\/el\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Elevate Greece<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfizer.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Pfizer<\/a><\/strong>, in cooperation with  <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/greekpatient.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Patients&#8217; Association of Greece<\/a>.  <\/strong>The prize for the winning team will be  <strong>worth 20,000 euros,<\/strong> while the possibility of a <strong>possible collaboration with Pfizer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B6;&#x3B7;&#x3C4;&#x3BF;&#x3CD;&#x3BC;&#x3B5;&#x3BD;&#x3B1;\"><strong>Requisite<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>Elevate Greece<\/strong> and <strong>Pfizer<\/strong> competition is looking for the most innovative digital solution <strong>to support <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/health-medication-social-welfare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Health Literacy<\/a><\/strong>, which meets one or more of the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Educate and empower patients with reliable and correct health information (e.g. detecting fake news and false claims, navigating the healthcare system, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving and strengthening communication between patient communities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support and improve healthcare professionals&#8217; communication with patients and carers (e.g. maximising the effectiveness of communication, ensuring that the right information is conveyed in an appropriate way, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting and empowering patients to better manage their health at home, in the community or at work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The proposed digital solution may consist of one technology or a combination of related technologies (e.g. SW. HW, applications, wearables, social networking, etc.).
