The loans of the Recovery Fund will cover from 30% to 50% the cost of the business plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Loans are directed to investment projects that fall into five categories:<\/p>\n\n

(a) Digital transformation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

(b) Green transition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

c) Extroversion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

d) Developing economies of scale through partnerships, acquisitions and mergers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

e) Innovation \u2013 research & development.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The escalation between 30% and 50% is based on the degree of greatest contribution to each of the five categories, and\/or a combination thereof. The assessment of eligibility will be carried out by independent auditors, while the solvency of the investment project will be assessed by the banking institutions. For each investment project, at least 20% of the investor’s own participation and at least 30% of third party resources are required.<\/p>\n\n

In the near future, the invitation to the commercial banks and the signing of the operational agreements with EIB and EBRD are expected.<\/p>\n\n

The consultation will last until Tuesday 28.9.21<\/strong> and then until 30.9.21 a relevant ministerial decision of the competent Deputy Minister of Finance mr Theodoros Skylakakis, will follow. for their adoption.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
