According to the relevant announcement, the consultation <strong>will end on 17\/11\/2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B1;&#x3BD;&#x3B1;&#x3C0;&#x3C4;&#x3C5;&#x3BE;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;&#x3BA;&#x3CC;&#x3C2;-&#x3BD;&#x3CC;&#x3BC;&#x3BF;&#x3C2;-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3BF;&#x3C7;&#x3B5;&#x3C5;&#x3BC;&#x3AD;&#x3BD;&#x3B5;&#x3C2;-&#x3B4;&#x3C1;&#x3B1;&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3C1;&#x3B9;&#x3CC;&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3C4;&#x3B5;&#x3C2;\"><strong>Development Law &#8211; Targeted activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>Development Law<\/strong> <strong>promotes the economic development of the country<\/strong> through the granting of incentives to targeted activities:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For the <strong>digital transformation<\/strong> of businesses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>green transition<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting innovative investments and investments in line with the priorities of &#8220;I<strong>ndustry 4.0<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Boosting employment<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Supporting new entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthening the areas included in the Just <strong>Development Transition Plan<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In addition, the aim is <strong>to improve and speed up the procedures for integrating investment projects into the state aid schemes established.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B1;&#x3BD;&#x3B1;&#x3C0;&#x3C4;&#x3C5;&#x3BE;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;&#x3BA;&#x3CC;&#x3C2;-&#x3BD;&#x3CC;&#x3BC;&#x3BF;&#x3C2;-&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3B3;&#x3BF;&#x3C1;&#x3AF;&#x3B5;&#x3C2;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B5;&#x3BD;&#x3B4;&#x3CD;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;\"><strong>Development Law &#8211;<\/strong> <strong>Categories of investments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The proposed arrangements <strong>establish thematic state aid schemes for investment projects, which may fall into one or more of the following categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/programmata\/digital-and-technological-transformation-of-businesses-development-law-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Digital and Technological Transformation of Enterprises<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/programmata\/green-transition-environmental-upgrading-of-businesses-development-law-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Green Transition \u2013 Environmental Upgrading of Businesses<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/programmata\/neo-epixeirin-anaptixiakos\/\"><strong>New Business<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/programmata\/just-developmental-transition-development-law-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Just Development Transition<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/programmata\/research-and-applied-innovation-development-law-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Research and Applied Innovation<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/programmata\/agri-food-primary-production-and-processing-of-agricultural-products-fishing-aquaculture-development-law-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Agri-food \u2013 Primary Production and Processing of Agricultural Products \u2013 Fisheries<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/programmata\/manufacturing-supply-chain-development-law-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Manufacturing \u2013 Supply Chain<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Business Extroversion<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/programmata\/strengthening-tourism-investments-development-law-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Support for Tourism Investments<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/programmata\/alternative-forms-of-tourism-development-law-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Alternative Forms of Tourism<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Large Investments<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>European value chains<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/programmata\/epixeirimatikotita-360-anaptyxiakos-nomos-4887-2022\/\"><strong>Entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>All the proposed provisions are part of the general objective of the government&#8217;s policy to <strong>support businesses, by providing for an effective tool for granting state aid, which has been structured on the basis of faster and flexible procedures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>For the first time, the possibilities provided by the General Exemption Regulation 651\/2014<\/strong> are exploited and concern the inclusion of investment projects independently, in its other parts in addition to regional aid. With this initiative, <strong>aid in areas such as research and innovation, <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/enviornment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">environmental protection<\/a> as well as social aid, such as for vocational training and for disadvantaged or disabled workers<\/strong>, can now constitute integrated investment projects.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-y&#x3C0;&#x3BF;&#x3C5;&#x3C1;&#x3B3;&#x3CC;&#x3C2;-&#x3B1;&#x3BD;&#x3AC;&#x3C0;&#x3C4;&#x3C5;&#x3BE;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B5;&#x3BD;&#x3B4;&#x3CD;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3BA;-&#x3AC;&#x3B4;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;&#x3B9;&#x3C2;-&#x3B3;&#x3B5;&#x3C9;&#x3C1;&#x3B3;&#x3B9;&#x3AC;&#x3B4;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;\"><strong>Minister for Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>&#8220;\u039f  <strong>new Development Law<\/strong>  which was compiled with great care by the team of Nikos Papathanasis and with my supervision,  <strong>It offers the Greek economy a very great opportunity: its transformation according to the needs of the modern era, the green economy and investments in high technology.<\/strong> All this, combined with lower bureaucracy and higher state aid rates, I believe will lead to a growth boom in the coming years. It is one of the most important institutional tools that promote healthy entrepreneurship and competition, addressing all modern challenges. With new thematic regimes and incentives, <strong>we give a very important boost to businesses of all sizes to implement their investment plans quickly and efficiently<\/strong> in a wide range of activities.
