Extension until Friday, January 7, 2022,<\/strong> the deadline for the submission of online business applications for the a new labour subsidy programme for the recruitment of 3,400 unemployed OAED workers, formerly employed in enterprises of the Regions of Western Macedonia<\/a> and Peloponnese<\/a> affected by the effects of de-lignification, into full-time jobs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Who is targeted by the extension of the programme<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n

The program, With a total budget of EUR 48 million. euros<\/strong>, is addressed to businesses operating in the Region of Western Macedonia and in the Municipalities of Megalopolis, Tripoli, Gortynia, Sparta, Oichalia and Kalamata.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Beneficiaries<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Beneficiaries are unemployed<\/a> people registered in the OAED register of Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2)<\/strong> based in areas of competence of the P.E. Kozani (KPA2 Kozani and Ptolemaida), P.E. Florina (KPA2 Florina and Amyntaio)<\/strong>, as well as KPA2 Tripoli<\/strong> (for registered unemployed of the Municipality of Megalopolis), for a period of at least one month.<\/p>\n\n

The duration of the program is 12 to 18 months<\/strong>, the rate salary and contribution subsidy<\/strong> varies between 75 and 100%<\/strong>, while the subsidy amount varies<\/strong> between 700 – 933 euros<\/strong> per month and 8,397 – 16,794 euros<\/strong> in total, depending on the category of the unemployed and the branch of the company that worked. The subsidy for wage and non-wage costs includes holiday gifts and holiday allowance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Businesses interested in participating in the program submit their application exclusively electronically through the State Aid Information System (SAIS)<\/strong> of Ministry of Development & Investments<\/strong>, at the following address: http:\/\/www.ependyseis.gr\/mis.<\/a><\/strong> Then, PES’s employment advisers indicate candidates to the company<\/strong>, according to the specialty and the required qualifications and the company chooses among the candidates for the recruitment.<\/p>\n\n

The program is part of the “social package” of PES actions, total budget of 107 million euros<\/strong>, for the just transition to the post-lignite era, with the aim of effectively supporting employment and social cohesion.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
