The third (3rd) amendment to the Act has been published: Aid in the form of a repayable advance to undertakings economically affected<\/a> <\/strong> by the emergence and spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 <\/strong>– Round 1. The Act belongs to the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPAnEK)<\/strong>. The beneficiary of the Operation is the General Directorate of Financial Services of the Ministry of Finance<\/strong><\/a> (DGOU)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In the Decision a total public expenditure of EUR 341 600 000,00<\/strong>, relating to the financing of the aid already received in the form of a repayable advance of 38 270 small and medium-sized enterprises<\/strong> (SMEs), irrespective of their sector, affected by the pandemic COVID-19 under the aid scheme EK 1407 De Minimis, an amendment to the timetable was made by extension of the expiry date of the operation by 18 months.<\/strong> The expiry date of the operation Postponed from 31\/12\/2021 to 30\/06\/2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In the Decision of a total public expenditure of 188,400,000.00<\/strong>, regarding the financing of the aid, which 14,047 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) regardless of sector, affected by the COVID-19 pandemic have already received in the form of a refundable advance payment under the “Temporary Framework” aid regime C(2020) 1863\/19-03-2020″, the timetable was also amended with extension of the expiry date of the operation by 18 months.<\/strong> The expiry date of the operation is postponed from 31\/12\/2021 to 30\/06\/2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The expenditure for the Operation “Aid in the form of a repayable advance” is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund<\/a><\/strong> (ERDF) and national resources.<\/p>\n\n

The Action includes aid in the form of a refundable advance payment<\/strong> for private businesses, regardless of sector, that have been financially affected by the emergence and spread of the coronavirus disease COVID-19. The repayable advance is the aid granted to enterprises<\/strong> and is reimbursed, in whole or in part<\/strong>, under specific terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n

The aid in the form of a repayable advance shall be non-deductible, tax-free and shall not be set off against any debt.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Budget for repayable advance aid<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

900 cm. euros <\/strong>joined EPANEK (Repayable Advance A’ & B’ Cycle).<\/strong> The final amount of eligible aid granted for cycle A & B amounted to 873.78 cm. euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Beneficiaries of the Action <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

a) private enterprises of any legal form. Individual companies, regardless of sector<\/strong>, which employed one (1) to five hundred (500) employees on March 31, 2020 are also included<\/p>\n\n

b) private enterprises in the form of sole proprietorships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and private capital companies (IKE), regardless of sector. Condition that they did not employ workers<\/strong> on March 31, 2020.<\/p>\n\n
