startups<\/strong> (<strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_type\/new-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">start-ups<\/a>\n<\/strong>) invites the <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/acci.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/a>\n<\/strong> (EBEA) to apply to the <strong>GAZELLE: orGAnizing accELaration for high-potential innovative SMEs<\/strong>, <strong>of the<\/strong> <strong>INTERREG BALKAN &#8211; MEDITERRENEAN 2014 &#8211; 2020<\/strong> <strong>transnational cooperation programme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The main objective of the project is:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the acceleration of innovative SMEs characterized by a rapid growth rate (&#8220;Gazelles&#8221;) in the Balkan-Mediterranean region<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the creation of an ecosystem where &#8220;the &#8220;Gazelles&#8221; can run faster and longer&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The selected innovative SMEs will go through an intensive business acceleration program supported by two major institutions:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the purchase of angels and<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the transfer of technology at transnational level<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This combination is an <strong>innovative approach<\/strong> that will give startups the opportunity <strong>to innovate their business model<\/strong> and <strong>strengthen their international cooperation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, they will be able to <strong>search for &#8220;smart money&#8221;<\/strong>, collaborate with universities and <strong>seek cooperatio<\/strong>n with other &#8220;Gazelles&#8221; is a <strong>transnational project<\/strong> implemented under the INTERREG Balkan Mediterranean Programme 2014-2020 and <strong>co-funded by the European Union and national resources of the partners.<\/strong> The acronym &#8220;gazelle&#8221; has not been chosen randomly. <strong>&#8220;Gazelles&#8221;<\/strong> are those <strong>companies that are characterized by rapid growth rates<\/strong>, with a substantial contribution to the <strong>creation of new jobs<\/strong>.
