The extension of the eligibility period for loans<\/strong> to be guaranteed by the COVID-19 Enterprise Guarantee Fund<\/strong> was announced. The new cut-off date is 30.06.22<\/strong> from 31.12.21<\/strong> originally set.<\/p>\n\n

It is reminded that the objective of the Fund is to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic<\/strong> on the operation of businesses, by enhancing their liquidity<\/strong> with working capital loans.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Budget of the Action<\/strong> – Guarantee Fund<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The total funds available in the three rounds for the Guarantee Fund<\/strong> amount to \u20ac2 billion euros<\/strong> (\u20ac1 billion euros<\/strong> from the first cycle,<\/strong> 780 million euros<\/strong> from the second cycle<\/strong> and 220 million euros<\/strong> from the third cycle<\/strong> of the Action). For the grant of the guarantee fee, the financial contribution of resources of up to 250,000,000 euros through the Public Investment Program is maintained.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The loans will be granted to small, medium and large enterprises, no later than 30\/06\/202<\/strong>2 and are expected in the second cycle<\/strong> to approach the \u20ac2.5 billion while in the third cycle the 500 million euros. euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Under the first cycle<\/strong>, loans over \u20ac3.5 billion euros<\/strong>. The total amount of loans for all three cycles<\/strong> received by businesses will exceed \u20ac6.5 billion euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

For theFirst & Second cycle of the Action, the resources of the Fund are co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund<\/a> (ERDF) and the Greek State<\/strong>, part of which comes from the Operational Programme Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPAnEK) 2014-2020.<\/p>\n\n

The third cycle of the Action is funded as part of the Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic – React EU. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Eligible Enterprises<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

All businesses<\/a><\/strong> legally operating in Greece, except:<\/p>\n\n
