The Region of South Aegean<\/strong> is going to proceed immediately<\/strong> to the publication of a call for the Support for the establishment and existing, micro<\/a> and small enterprises<\/a> of the South Aegean<\/strong>, in the framework of the South Aegean Operational Programme 2014-2020.<\/p>\n\n

Objectives of the action<\/strong> in the South Aegean Region<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The main objectives of the action are:<\/p>\n\n

\u2022 the creation of new dynamic small or micro business units that will contribute to increasing the added value of the production base towards highly competitive goods and services by integrating knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\u2022 the reorientation of existing enterprises and the strengthening of their competitiveness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\u2022 the creation of new jobs as well as the upgrading of qualifications of employees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Based on the approved planning of the Region, through the call it is foreseen to support actions related to a wide selection of sectors<\/strong> in the framework of the Smart Specialization Strategy for the South Aegean Region.<\/p>\n\n

Budget<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The total Public Expenditure<\/strong> of the actions of the call in the South Aegean region will amount to 4.000.000\u20ac<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The call budget is broken down by business category as follows:<\/p>\n\n

\u2022 50% for start-ups<\/a> and start-ups<\/a> without profit distribution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\u2022 50% for existing businesses<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The maximum total budget<\/strong> per project is \u20ac100,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Public expenditure is co-financed by the European Social Fund<\/a> (ESF) of the European Union<\/strong>, using a flexibility clause<\/strong> for ERDF-type<\/strong> expenditure and national resources.<\/p>\n\n
