In fact, this percentage remained for the second year in a row above the 30% milestone<\/strong>. A percentage that according to surveys, <strong>counts as the minimum representation<\/strong> required to make a change in the business decision-making process.<\/p>\n\n<p>About the effect of Covid-19 on the  <strong>Women&#8217;s Business<\/strong>,  <strong>almost 3 out of 4 businesses worldwide (73%)<\/strong> agree that in their organization, the new working practices that arose as a result of the pandemic <strong>agree that in their organization, <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/category_of_beneficiary\/idiotes-epidotisi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the new working practices<\/a> that arose as a result of the pandemic<\/strong>, with this percentage even recording an increase of 4 percentage points compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n<p>At the same time, the percentage of businesses worldwide <strong>that did not take any action<\/strong> to ensure the <strong>principles of Integration and Equal Representation Opportunities for both sexes<\/strong> in their work environment <strong>fell to 5% in 2022<\/strong>. In 2021, this percentage stood at 8%. It is characteristic that almost <strong>1 in 2 enterprises (47%)<\/strong> <strong>carries out actions that promote work-life balance<\/strong> for their employees. Creating an environment where people can <strong>freely express their ideas, concerns and questions<\/strong> also remains high on the list of relevant actions, with the participation of companies <strong>amounting to 44%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3C4;&#x3B1;-&#x3C3;&#x3B7;&#x3BC;&#x3B1;&#x3BD;&#x3C4;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3CC;&#x3C4;&#x3B5;&#x3C1;&#x3B1;-&#x3B5;&#x3C5;&#x3C1;&#x3AE;&#x3BC;&#x3B1;&#x3C4;&#x3B1;-&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-&#x3AD;&#x3C1;&#x3B5;&#x3C5;&#x3BD;&#x3B1;&#x3C2;-&#x3B3;&#x3C5;&#x3BD;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3B5;&#x3AF;&#x3BF;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B9;&#x3C7;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;&#x3C1;&#x3B5;&#x3AF;&#x3BD;-&#x3B5;&#x3BD;&#x3B9;&#x3C3;&#x3C7;&#x3CD;&#x3B5;&#x3C4;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;-&#x3B7;-&#x3B5;&#x3BA;&#x3C0;&#x3C1;&#x3BF;&#x3C3;&#x3CE;&#x3C0;&#x3B7;&#x3C3;&#x3B7;-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3B9;&#x3C2;-&#x3B1;&#x3BD;&#x3CE;&#x3C4;&#x3B5;&#x3C1;&#x3B5;&#x3C2;-&#x3B4;&#x3B9;&#x3BF;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3B7;&#x3C4;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3AD;&#x3C2;-&#x3B8;&#x3AD;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;&#x3C2;\"><strong>The main findings of the Women&#8217;s Business Survey: Strengthening representation in senior management positions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Women hold 32% of senior management positions in businesses worldwide. This is an increase of 1 percentage point on the previous year.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The proportion of women in senior management positions exceeded 30% in all geographical areas. The highest percentages are recorded in Africa (40%) and Southeast Asia (37%).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>37% of businesses worldwide have a woman in the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO). This is an increase of 1 percentage point on the previous year. Compared to the 2021 findings, the number of female Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) fell by 2 percentage points, to 24%. The percentage of female Chief Operating Officers (COOs) remained stable at 23%.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The percentage of women in senior HR management positions worldwide increased by 1 percentage point compared to 2021, to 39%. It remains the position with the highest percentage of female representation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3C0;&#x3CE;&#x3C2;-&#x3B4;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;&#x3BC;&#x3BF;&#x3C1;&#x3C6;&#x3CE;&#x3BD;&#x3B5;&#x3C4;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;-&#x3C4;&#x3BF;-&#x3B3;&#x3C5;&#x3BD;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3B5;&#x3AF;&#x3BF;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B9;&#x3C7;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;&#x3C1;&#x3B5;&#x3AF;&#x3BD;-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3BD;-&#x3B5;&#x3BB;&#x3BB;&#x3AC;&#x3B4;&#x3B1;\"><strong>How women&#8217;s entrepreneurship is shaped in Greece<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In Greece, the share of women in senior management positions <strong>fell by 5 percentage points in 2022<\/strong>. It stood at <strong>28% compared to 33% in 2021.<\/strong> However, it remains the <strong>second highest level since 2014.<\/strong> At the same time, the proportion of enterprises that <strong>do not employ any women in a senior management position<\/strong> <strong>increased to 22% compared to 13%<\/strong> the previous year.<\/p>\n\n<p>However, it remains the second highest level since 2014. The<\/strong>proportion of women <strong>in COO positions<\/strong> <strong>fell by 5 percentage points to 14%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Greek companies<\/strong> say that the main actions implemented in the last 12 months to ensure the <strong>principles of Integration and Equal Opportunities of Representation for both sexes<\/strong> in their work environment are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>promoting work-life balance and allowing for greater flexibility for workers (33%)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>creating an environment where all employees can openly express their ideas and concerns (27%)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the promotion of new working practices for the best possible engagement of employees (24%)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B2;&#x3B1;&#x3C3;&#x3AF;&#x3BB;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3B6;&#x3AC;&#x3C2;-managing-partner-&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-grant-thornton-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3BD;-&#x3B5;&#x3BB;&#x3BB;&#x3AC;&#x3B4;&#x3B1;\"><strong>Vassilis Kazas, Managing Partner of Grant Thornton in Greece<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>On the basis of the above data, Mr. Vassilis Kazas, Managing Partner of Grant Thornton in Greece, says: &#8220;It is important for businesses to create a working environment in which <strong>the values of inclusion and equal representation take shape,<\/strong> thus ensuring the creation of an inclusive society.
