The Alexandria Innovation Zone continues its actions for the strenghening<\/strong> of community<\/strong> of business startups<\/a><\/strong> consistently seeking to inspire, support and unite those who want to do their first steps in innovative entrepreneurship.<\/strong> As part of the project \u00abPromotion entrepreneurship by supporting promising innovative ideas through pre-incubating mechanisms \u00bb<\/a><\/strong> with acronym \u00abCo-Working<\/strong>\u00bb of the program Interreg V-A Cooperation Programme Greece – Bulgaria 2014\/20<\/strong>, which is co-financed by the European Union and national funds of the participating countries, the Alexandria Innovation Zone<\/strong>, as lead partner, implements an accelerator programme for startups.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

What is this<\/strong> Co-Working<\/strong>aimed at<\/strong>?<\/h2>\n\n

The acceleration<\/strong> program<\/strong> is aimed<\/strong> at those who would like to develop<\/strong> or already have<\/strong> a business idea<\/strong> which<\/strong> is<\/strong> in the initial stage of investigation or development. It is a programme<\/strong> to support<\/strong> innovative business teams<\/strong>, helping participants to mature their idea in a short period of time and to discover a sustainable business model<\/strong> that will allow them to grow<\/strong> as start-ups<\/strong> in major international markets.<\/p>\n\n

The acceleration program includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    \n
  • theoretical approach to entrepreneurship issues<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Business discovery labs<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • mentoring of participants, in order to support their business ideas<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    The Acceleration Programme involves the organisation of a Bootcamp structured around the following 5 thematic modules:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n
      \n
    1. Development of Lean Startup Methodology <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Business Model Canvas Methodology Development <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Development of Assumption Validation Methodology <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Pitching Techniques and Approaches <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Internal Evaluation Methodology <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      In the above context, 3 similar educational cycles of 20 participants will be implemented for each thematic unit,<\/strong> each of which includes theoretical training and practical training of the methodology. A total of 60 participants will be selected based on predetermined criteria from all interested parties who will apply to participate.<\/strong> Then, those selected will be sent an invitation and the detailed program.<\/p>\n\n

      For the successful completion of the acceleration program, comprehensive participation in each thematic module is required<\/strong>.<\/strong> The acceleration program takes place with the physical presence of the participants, for those who live within Thessaloniki, in the area of the Alexandria Innovation Zone,<\/strong> while on a case-by-case basis, to ensure the protection of the beneficiaries, the ability to participate using digital media<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

      Attendance is MANDATORY with the possibility of 2 absences for each participant.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      Classes will take place every day, except weekends, in the afternoon hours 18:00 – 21:30.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
