{"id":6390,"date":"2022-10-24T11:53:30","date_gmt":"2022-10-24T11:53:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-espa.summerize.io\/hdbi-new-program-for-innovative-startups\/"},"modified":"2023-07-26T10:36:53","modified_gmt":"2023-07-26T10:36:53","slug":"hdbi-new-program-for-innovative-startups","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/hdbi-new-program-for-innovative-startups\/","title":{"rendered":"HDBI: New program for innovative startups"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/eate-neo-programma-gia-kainotomes-startups-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The <strong>Hellenic Development Investment Bank<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>EATE<\/strong> is implementing a new programme to <strong>support <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_type\/new-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Greek innovative startups<\/a><\/strong>, through funds from the <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.minfin.gr\/tameio-anakampses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Resilience and Recovery Fund<\/a>\n<\/strong>, as part of the activation of the <strong>Equity Platform<\/strong> tool of the &#8220;<strong>Greece 2.0<\/strong>&#8221; project.<\/p>\n\n<p>Through the <strong>InnovateNow<\/strong> programme you will  <strong>100 million will be invested. in new venture capital funds;<\/strong> that will aim to strengthen the ecosystem of innovative startups, <strong>mobilising at least as many other private capital.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The aim is to <strong>attract managers and private investors<\/strong> to make investments, but also <strong>to stimulate research and development<\/strong> (R&amp;D) of cutting-edge technologies.<\/p>\n\n<p>Participants must <strong>have innovative characteristics<\/strong> and be active in fast-growing sectors of the economy, such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>of information <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/informatics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">technology<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>biotechnology<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>microelectronics<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>At the same time, to contribute to the production process through the development of:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cyber-physical systems<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IoT<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>On-demand availability of computer system resources<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>cognitive computing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>robotic applications<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>nanotechnology<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>genomics<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>cyberspace<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>big da analysis etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This program also gives <strong>impetus to Greek University and Research institutions<\/strong> by promoting, in addition to the development of cutting-edge know-how, in the export activity of the country.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B3;&#x3B9;&#x3AC;&#x3BD;&#x3BD;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-&#x3C4;&#x3C3;&#x3B1;&#x3BA;&#x3AF;&#x3C1;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-&#x3C5;&#x3C6;&#x3C5;&#x3C0;&#x3BF;&#x3C5;&#x3C1;&#x3B3;&#x3CC;&#x3C2;-&#x3B1;&#x3BD;&#x3AC;&#x3C0;&#x3C4;&#x3C5;&#x3BE;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B5;&#x3BD;&#x3B4;&#x3CD;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3B3;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;-startups\"><strong>Yannis Tsakiris, Deputy Minister of Development and Investment for startups<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>&#8220;With the new financial tool &#8220;<strong>InnovateNow<\/strong>&#8221; and the contribution of the <strong>Recovery Fund<\/strong>, we are laying the foundations for further smart financing of innovative technology startups. At the same time, we contribute to the <strong>scaling up of research activity,<\/strong> while improving the business environment and the venture capital ecosystem.
