The platform<\/strong> that supports the online submission of investment projects for loan financing from the resources of the Greece 2.0 Recovery and Resilience Fund<\/a><\/strong> has been launched.<\/p>\n\n

The new platform now allows investment project submissions to be done electronically. It is the central gateway<\/strong> for private investments to be evaluated to receive the highly favourable financing<\/strong>, thanks to the loan resources of Greece 2.0.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

It is fully automated<\/strong> to provide speed and adequate information to investors \u2013 without any other interventions \u2013 and to enable quick disbursements.<\/p>\n\n

In addition, it is configured so that there is maximum transparency and information<\/strong> for investors. Through the platform, cumulation issues are also checked.<\/p>\n\n

Investors can now upload their investment plans through the platform<\/strong> as well. From June 1, 20222, its use for the submission of investment projects becomes mandatory.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

It should be noted that the loan component of Greece 2.0<\/strong>, amounting to \u20ac12.7 billion euros<\/strong>, will lead to a significant boost in private investment<\/strong> in the coming years. This will allow a high growth rate to be maintained,<\/strong> despite the adverse conditions prevailing internationally.<\/p>\n\n

Who Greece 2.0 is for<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The Program is addressed to all Greek businesses, regardless of size and legal form. They can receive up to 50% of the cost of their investment from Greece 2.0<\/strong> funds. The interest rate will be fixed<\/strong>, currently at 0.35%<\/strong>, as set out in the relevant \n Ministerial Decision<\/strong>\n<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Greece 2.0<\/strong> investments focus on green<\/a> and digital transition<\/a><\/strong>. 37% of their spending will be on climate<\/strong>. Also 20%<\/strong> is earmarked for promoting the digital transition of<\/strong> private enterprises.<\/p>\n\n

The final amount of financing of the investment project, from the loans of the Recovery and Resilience Fund<\/strong>, is calculated according to the existence of a budget of eligible investment costs<\/strong> in the five pillars of the loan component of Greece 2.0<\/strong>, as well as the coverage of specific criteria per pillar (\n Eligibility Assessment Criteria<\/strong>\n<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n

It is reminded that, for the time being, seven domestic banks<\/strong> participate in the Program: National Bank of Greece, Piraeus Bank, Alpha Bank, Eurobank, Optima Bank, Pancretan Bank and Hellenic Development Investment Bank.<\/p>\n\n

Also two internationals<\/strong>: \n European Investment Bank<\/a>\n<\/strong> and \n European Bank for Reconstruction and Development<\/a>\n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

It was preceded by the announcement of the decisions that bring up to EUR 10 billion. euro and more the total budget of the projects<\/strong> that have been included, to date, in the Recovery Fund. With hard work we proceed to the implementation of a plan,<\/strong> capable of changing, significantly, for the better the image of the country and the life of every citizen. Especially the loan part<\/strong> is of great importance. By supporting private investment, it is defending our economy<\/strong> in this difficult and uncertain period in terms of international economic developments.”<\/p>\n\n
