In this context, it announces the <strong>first<\/strong> <strong>&#8220;Proof of Concept&#8221; program, <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/enviornment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on the topic of the environment<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/energy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">energy<\/a>, which is implemented with the support of Google and in collaboration with five scientific organizations (Research Center<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.demokritos.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong> EKEFE Democritus<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/acein.aueb.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation ACEin <\/a>&#8211; Athens University of Economics and Business<\/strong>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntua.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong> National Technical University of Athens<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athenarc.gr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">ATHENA Research Centre<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iccs.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Research University Institute of Communication Systems &amp; Computer<\/a> Systems and Systems).  <\/strong>The program will finance <strong>business endeavors<\/strong> at the early stage of research idea evaluation and will support attracting additional investment to develop their idea.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3C3;&#x3B5;-&#x3C0;&#x3BF;&#x3B9;&#x3BF;&#x3C5;&#x3C2;-&#x3B1;&#x3C0;&#x3B5;&#x3C5;&#x3B8;&#x3CD;&#x3BD;&#x3B5;&#x3C4;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;-&#x3C4;&#x3BF;-&#x3C0;&#x3C1;&#x3CC;&#x3B3;&#x3C1;&#x3B1;&#x3BC;&#x3BC;&#x3B1;-science-agora-&#x3BC;&#x3B5;-&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3BD;-&#x3C5;&#x3C0;&#x3BF;&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3AE;&#x3C1;&#x3B9;&#x3BE;&#x3B7;-&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3C2;-google\"><strong>Who it is aimed at<\/strong> <strong>the SCIENCE AGORA programme<\/strong> <strong>with the support of Google<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To the entire academic and research community, <strong>to groups of researchers, to scientists<\/strong> with a strong technological background and not only those interested in developing innovative services, products and models that can find application in the thematic areas of the program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In <strong>startups<\/strong> that develop innovative services and products providing solutions to these important challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Apply<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSe1SMlUxcXLxD96hYMxtlXoCDsuokT3dZ7oX4BYSANbWXIIlQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> until May 20, <strong>2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3BF;&#x3B9;-&#x3B8;&#x3B5;&#x3BC;&#x3B1;&#x3C4;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3AD;&#x3C2;-&#x3C0;&#x3B5;&#x3C1;&#x3B9;&#x3BF;&#x3C7;&#x3AD;&#x3C2;\"><strong>Thematic areas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Food Chain Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy Management and Saving<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainable Water Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Circular Economy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environmental Management and Technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B3;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;&#x3C4;&#x3AF;-&#x3BD;&#x3B1;-&#x3C3;&#x3C5;&#x3BC;&#x3BC;&#x3B5;&#x3C4;&#x3AC;&#x3C3;&#x3C7;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;-&#x3BC;&#x3AF;&#x3B1;-&#x3BF;&#x3BC;&#x3AC;&#x3B4;&#x3B1;\"><strong>Why should a team participate?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The teams that will participate in the program can claim:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Funding for the implementation of the PoC from <strong>15,000 to 40,000 euros,<\/strong> based on specific evaluation criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation <strong>in mentoring sessions<\/strong> and pitching presentations <strong>for networking with the market.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consulting <strong>support from experienced market executives<\/strong> to implement the PoC in a real environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>More information about the <strong>program<\/strong> can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/dev-google.acein.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> and contact the organizing committee at email <strong>info@scienceagora.eu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Maria Fouda<\/strong>, Marketing Director of <strong>Google<\/strong> for Southeast Europe<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Google<\/strong> is committed to actually <strong>supporting sustainable development<\/strong> in Greece.
