The deadline for submitting<\/strong> applications for the 300 available positions of the labour subsidy programme for 2,000 unemployed people<\/a><\/strong> aged 30 years and over in the Region of Attica<\/strong> by the Department of Public Works and Public Administration is extended until Sunday, 2 October 2022 at 23:59<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The purpose of the program is the creation of 300 new full-time jobs<\/strong>. Beneficiaries are all private companies<\/strong> active in the Attica Region<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The duration of the program is 12 months.<\/strong> The monthly subsidy<\/strong> for salary and non-salary costs amounts to \u20ac450<\/strong> for hiring the unemployed<\/strong>. While it amounts to \u20ac550<\/strong> for hiring the long-term unemployed (over 12 months).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The program concerns unemployed people aged 30<\/strong> and over, who are registered<\/strong> in the public employment services<\/strong> register for a period of at least one month.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

To participate in the program, interested companies submit their vacancies electronically.<\/strong> They specify the specialty and the desired educational level.<\/strong> Then, PES’s employment advisers<\/strong> indicate to the company the suitable candidates, according to the required qualifications of the vacant position<\/strong>. Then the company chooses<\/strong> among the candidates and hires the unemployed person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The total budget of the<\/strong> program amounted to \u20ac12,000,000<\/strong> and will be covered by the resources of PES<\/strong>.<\/h5>\n\n
