The organization of the 12th cycle of the EUREM<\/strong> seminar on energy saving<\/a><\/strong> is being prepared by the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong> and Industry. It is a comprehensive educational material of European standards, which is applied<\/strong> in more<\/strong> than 30 countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

EUREM<\/strong> is a recognized professional<\/strong> certification<\/strong>. It helps the work<\/strong> of both the energy managers of the factories<\/strong>, as well as the energy consultants<\/strong> of the industries<\/strong> and other<\/strong> infrastructures<\/strong> (buildings, RES, CHP transport and the tertiary sector) in the implementation of systematic energy management<\/strong> and in the easy calculation of savings.<\/p>\n\n

The EUREM<\/strong> seminars<\/strong> are aimed at engineers of all specialties<\/strong> and executives<\/strong> in the energy<\/strong> sector. Through them they expand<\/strong> their knowledge in the multi-level field of energy saving<\/strong>. They will be hosted on a distance learning<\/strong> platform<\/strong>. The possibility of direct interaction between trainer and participants<\/strong> will be given, with all the necessary<\/strong> tools<\/strong> of modern communication. It is planned, however, to maintain<\/strong>, as in the two previous digital cycles, also networking<\/strong> elements.<\/p>\n\n

The last two courses will be held with physical presence in Athens and Thessaloniki. This will give participants a direct communication and networking opportunity.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

As stated by the instructor of the seminar, Mr. Alexis Adamopoulos,<\/strong> member of<\/strong> of the Hellenic-German Chamber<\/strong> and one of the two main authors of the Energy Audits Guide<\/a><\/strong> of the Ministry of Environment, “the ever increasing demands<\/strong> to reduce the energy footprint and implement energy management in practice, especially in energy-intensive businesses, now requires holistic treatment of energy portfolios<\/strong>. Mainly, not when in the energy cost equation<\/strong> they enter in addition to earlier ones, energy markets and the energy exchange<\/strong>, energy self-sufficiency and security of supply, and of course the new climate law and the European Directive EU 944\/2019″.<\/p>\n\n

The mr Giorgos Theodorakis, Director of the Northern Greece Branch of the Greek-German Chamber, emphasizes that<\/strong> energy saving is an area of expertise for Germany, with the Chamber, for at least 15 years<\/strong>, acting as a bridge for the transfer of know-how through the seminar EUREM<\/strong> and other diverse actions, such as the business delegation of German companies, organized on<\/strong> October 11-13, 2022, in Thessaloniki.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
