In the coming days<\/strong>, the consultation on the new call for improvement plans<\/strong> (sub-measure 4.1.5 in the Rural Development Programme of Greece)<\/strong> will begin.<\/p>\n\n

In particular, in the context of the RDP 2014\/22<\/strong> with resources of 180 million euros<\/strong> from the recovery instrument and with legal commitments that can be up to<\/strong> 230 million euros<\/strong>in December<\/strong> 2022, Action 4.1.5 will be launched<\/strong> on the implementation of investments<\/strong> aimed at the resilience, sustainability and digital economic recovery of farms enterprises<\/a><\/strong> (over-commitment of around 30%).<\/p>\n\n

The submission<\/strong> is expected to start at the end of the year<\/strong> and will be exclusively<\/strong> electronic<\/strong> through the State Aid Information System.<\/p>\n\n

Eligibility requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Individuals and legal persons will be eligible.<\/p>\n\n

For Individuals the main eligibility conditions are:<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  1. The registration in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings in the capacity of a professional farmer (not as a new entrant) or the status of the beneficiary of sub-measure 6.1 \u2013 Young Farmers during the last five years before the submission of his application.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The submission of an admissible IACS declaration in the year 2022.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The existence of insurance and tax clearance.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    \u03a0\u03c1\u03cc\u03b3\u03c1\u03b1\u03bc\u03bc\u03b1 \u0391\u03b3\u03c1\u03bf\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae\u03c2 \u0391\u03bd\u03ac\u03c0\u03c4\u03c5\u03be\u03b7\u03c2 – \u0395\u03c0\u03b9\u03bb\u03ad\u03be\u03b9\u03bc\u03b5\u03c2 \u03b4\u03b1\u03c0\u03ac\u03bd\u03b5\u03c2<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

    The main eligible investments are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      \n
    1. Construction, expansion, modernization of agricultural buildings and structures, including transported shelters for workers.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Purchase, transportation and installation of new mechanical and other equipment.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Purchase, transportation and installation of perennial plantations.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Investments in RES.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Investments in waste management.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. General Expenses (fees of scholars, expenses for issuing permits, etc.)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
      The following shall not be supported, inter alia:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n
        \n
      1. Second-hand equipment .<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. VAT<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. The expenses for the purchase of animals.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Expenditure on the purchase of annual plants or seedlings installed by sowing.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. The costs for simple replacement of mechanical equipment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

        Grading criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

        The grading criteria include:<\/p>\n\n

          \n
        1. The productive orientation of the holding.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. The economic size of the holding.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. The dynamics of the beneficiary and the holding.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Investments in farms in fire-stricken areas.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. The type of investment expenditure with emphasis on digital agriculture and RES.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. The increase in the added value of products.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. The introduction \/ use of innovation.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        8. Participation in priority sectors of the Region.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

          Evaluation of applications for the Rural Development Programme<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

          The end of the submission of applications is followed by a comparative evaluation, grading and inclusion in the measure of those applications covered by the call budget<\/strong>. In order to speed up the evaluation of the application, the register of evaluators of applications for support will be enlarged.<\/p>\n\n

          The Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. George Georgantas, pointed out: “Through the enhanced Program for Improvement Plans, the effort to support and modernize primary production<\/strong> and to meet the needs that have arisen from the new data continue. We support the Greek producer with deeds and arm him with all the necessary supplies<\/strong> to face the problems of today, but also the challenges of tomorrow”.<\/p>\n\n
