{"id":30355,"date":"2023-08-29T06:32:34","date_gmt":"2023-08-29T06:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/espa.io\/region-of-evros-registration-and-subsidies-for-fire-affected-businesses-and-farms\/"},"modified":"2023-08-31T09:09:59","modified_gmt":"2023-08-31T09:09:59","slug":"region-of-evros-registration-and-subsidies-for-fire-affected-businesses-and-farms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/region-of-evros-registration-and-subsidies-for-fire-affected-businesses-and-farms\/","title":{"rendered":"Region of Evros: Registration and subsidies for fire-affected businesses and farms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/evros-katagrafi-kai-epixorigisi-pyroplikton-epixeiriseon-kai-agrotikon-ekmetalleyseon-1024x575.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The <strong>Region of Evros<\/strong> has issued <strong>clarifications<\/strong> on the procedure of <strong>declaration &#8211; registration and subsidies for businesses and farms affected by the fires<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>According to this announcement, <strong>businesses<\/strong> and <strong>farms<\/strong> affected by the fires <strong>are being subsidised<\/strong> by the <strong>State Relief Directorate of the <a href=\"https:\/\/civilprotection.gov.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Region is competent to set up committees to record damage caused:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>to businesses  <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>in<a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/manufacturing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> industrial and craft plants<\/a>,  <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>commercial establishments and agricultural holdings, i.e. <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/agriculture-farmers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">agricultural holdings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/stock-farming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">livestock farm<\/a>s, (with the exception of damage to plant and livestock capital and crop production),  <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>carrying out a legal economic activity, regardless of their form, including <strong>sole proprietorships<\/strong>, <strong>freelancers<\/strong>, and <strong>non-profit organisations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>After the delimitation of the area as fire-affected, the Region sends the necessary documents to the Ministry, which proceeds to check them and pays the beneficiaries the grant.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3C4;&#x3B9;-&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3BB;&#x3CD;&#x3C0;&#x3C4;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;-&#x3B7;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B9;&#x3C7;&#x3BF;&#x3C1;&#x3AE;&#x3B3;&#x3B7;&#x3C3;&#x3B7;-&#x3C4;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3C0;&#x3BB;&#x3B7;&#x3B3;&#x3AD;&#x3BD;&#x3C4;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B9;&#x3C7;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;&#x3C1;&#x3AE;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;-&#x3B1;&#x3B3;&#x3C1;&#x3BF;&#x3C4;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3CE;&#x3BD;-&#x3B5;&#x3BA;&#x3BC;&#x3B5;&#x3C4;&#x3B1;&#x3BB;&#x3BB;&#x3B5;&#x3CD;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3B7;&#x3BD;-&#x3C0;&#x3B5;&#x3C1;&#x3B9;&#x3C6;&#x3AD;&#x3C1;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;-&#x3AD;&#x3B2;&#x3C1;&#x3BF;&#x3C5;\"><strong>What is covered by the grant for affected businesses and farms<\/strong> in the <strong>region of Evros<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The grant covers material damage caused by the fire to assets such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Equipment<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>raw materials<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>merchandise<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>lorries for public and private use, as well as commercial vehicles<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>means of production, including land capital and stored products, which were recorded as damaged<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Building damage is not eligible for State Aid<\/strong>. For building damage to businesses, those affected should apply to the <strong>Directorate of Natural Disaster Rehabilitation of Northern Greece<\/strong>, 28 Navarinou Street, Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. Contact telephone &#8211; Secretariat: 2310417586, Mr. Juvaras and Mr. Tzikas, which is the agency responsible for granting housing assistance.<\/p>\n\n<p>The damage survey committee of the<strong>  Regional Unit of Evros<\/strong>  for the businesses (commercial) of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis and Soufli affected by the fire,  <strong>accepts applications at the building where the Regional Unit of Evros is housed, at 40 Karoli and Dimitriou Street.<\/strong>, on the 1st floor in office 3, contact numbers: 25513 50513 and 50510,  <strong>from Monday 28 August 2023<\/strong>in order to start the autopsies.<\/p>\n\n<p>The damage registration committees of the <strong>Regional Unit of Evros<\/strong> for the <strong>agricultural businesses of the Municipalities of Alexandroupolis and Soufli<\/strong> accept applications from <strong>Monday 28 August 2023<\/strong> to the <strong>ELGA correspondents<\/strong> in the local <strong>Municipalities of Alexandroupolis and Soufli<\/strong>, as well as in the <strong>Community of Makri, the Municipal Unit of Feron and the Municipal Unit of Traianoupolis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Region of Evros has issued clarifications on the procedure of declaration &#8211; registration and subsidies for businesses and farms affected by the fires.
