The ability of thousands of households and farmers<\/a><\/strong> to produce the electricity they need and save money is made possible by the Photovoltaics on the Roof<\/strong> programme (Government Gazette 2903\/B\/02-05-2023) with a total budget of 238 million euros<\/strong>, the platform of which (\n https:\/\/pvstegi.gov.gr<\/strong>\n<\/a>) available from Tuesday 2 May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Beneficiaries of the Programme are households and farmers who will be able to install their own small photovoltaic system, combined with a storage system (battery)<\/strong>. \u0397 subsidy of<\/strong> the photovoltaic system starts from 45% to 75% for households<\/strong>. The corresponding rates for farmers<\/strong> are 40% – 60%<\/strong>, while the total subsidy<\/strong> of the photovoltaic system with battery can reach up to 16,000 euros<\/strong> for households<\/strong> and10,000 euros for farmers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

At the same time, a special <\/strong> 10%<\/strong>bonus<\/strong> is provided for people with disabilities, spouses and dependants of people with disabilities, single-parent, three-parent and large families.<\/p>\n\n

The submission of applications<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The submission of applications and their approval is immediate, fast and automated<\/strong>, without hassle and complicated bureaucracy, through the online platform of the \n DEDDIE<\/a>\n<\/strong> and the use of TAXISNET codes<\/strong>. The application system will remain open until the available resources are exhausted, with a deadline of the end of June 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Each natural person may submit only one application<\/strong>, for a single dwelling, primary or secondary, which has an active domestic electricity supply. Farmers may submit more than one application<\/strong>, depending on the number of agricultural electricity providers they have. They may also submit an application for their residence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Photovoltaics on the roof –<\/strong> How the budget is distributed<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The total budget of the Programme is \u20ac238 million. euro.<\/strong> It comes from the resources of the \n Recovery and Resilience Fund<\/a>\n<\/strong> and shall be distributed as follows:<\/p>\n\n
