{"id":28183,"date":"2023-08-20T14:00:18","date_gmt":"2023-08-20T14:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/espa.io\/mfaat-additional-10-million-euro-to-support-the-small-loan-fund-for-rural-entrepreneurship\/"},"modified":"2023-08-20T14:00:18","modified_gmt":"2023-08-20T14:00:18","slug":"mfaat-additional-10-million-euro-to-support-the-small-loan-fund-for-rural-entrepreneurship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/mfaat-additional-10-million-euro-to-support-the-small-loan-fund-for-rural-entrepreneurship\/","title":{"rendered":"MFAAT: Additional 10 million. euro to support the Small Loan Fund for Rural Entrepreneurship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/ypaat-epipleon-10-ekat-eyro-gia-tin-enisxysi-tou-tameiou-mikron-daneion-agrotikisi-epixeirimatikotitas-1024x438.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Resources of \u20ac10 million EUR 1.5 million to support the <a href=\"https:\/\/hdb.gr\/tameio-mikron-daneion-agrotikis-epicheirimatikotitas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Small Loan Fund for Rural Entrepreneurship (S<\/a>BAE)<\/strong>  consequently the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/agriculture-farmers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">support of farmers<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/processing-of-agricultural-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">agro-processing companies<\/a><\/strong>, has been secured by the leadership of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.minagric.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n  <strong>Ministry of Rural Development and Food -YPAAT.<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><strong>YPATF &#8211; The beneficiaries of the Fund<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The beneficiaries of the <strong>Small Rural Entrepreneurship Loan Fund (SBAF)<\/strong> are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>professional farmers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>legal persons whose principal activity is agriculture<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>young farmers under action 6.1<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>recognised collective organisations of farmers and  <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises with an agricultural end product<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The amount of the loan ranges from 3,000 euros to 25,000 euros<\/strong>  and the  <strong>repayment period of 2 to 5 years<\/strong>. On each loan  <strong>50% is granted by the Rural Development Programme<\/strong>  (PAA) through the Fund and is interest-free and the  <strong>the remaining 50% from the bank.<\/strong>  In addition, the CIP through the Fund provides  <strong>interest rate subsidy for the remaining half of the bank&#8217;s loan for the first two years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This results in <strong>beneficiaries<\/strong> being able to<strong>  have zero interest rate for the first two years of the loan repayment. For<\/strong>For the <strong>rest of the period they have interest only on 50% of their total loan<\/strong>, i.e. the part of the loan in which the bank participates.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>total budget of the Small Loans Fund for Rural Entrepreneurship<\/strong> (SBAE) in the coming period will amount to  <strong>31,5 million.
