WE LEAD<\/strong>, a new non-profit organization<\/strong> for women’s empowerment<\/strong> in the field of
\n technology<\/a>
\n<\/strong> and business<\/strong> founded by Libra Philanthropies<\/strong>, announces two free<\/strong> 15-week<\/strong> online training programs<\/strong> in front-end and back-end development(October 2023<\/strong> – February 2024)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

WE LEAD<\/strong> ‘s goal<\/strong> through the tech bootcamps is to help reduce the gender gap in the tech sector<\/strong> by enabling more women to enter, grow and lead<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The bootcamps were designed in collaboration with Code.Hub<\/strong>, a distinguished provider of training, development and transfer of know-how to scientists and professionals in the field of IT and New Technologies. They are aimed at women – both SSI and transgender – aged 18 and over<\/strong> with basic computer or programming skills who are interested in starting a career in technology<\/strong>, want to enhance their skills<\/strong> or wish to return to the labour market<\/strong> after a break. The front-end and back-end development programs<\/strong> emphasize high-demand technologies<\/strong> -Java & Spring in back-end development and HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular in front-end development- in order for participants to obtain the knowledge required to enter or re-enter the work environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The WE LEAD programmes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The duration of<\/strong> the bootcamps is15 weeks<\/strong>, starting with the orientation week during which the teams will get to know each other, talk to tech professionals<\/strong> and get a better understanding of the program, followed by the technical training of 80 or 100 hours<\/strong>, depending on the program. Participants will work on real projects<\/strong>, building a strong portfolio that will be useful in their careers<\/strong>, while mentors<\/strong> from the technology and business<\/strong> world will provide support and guidance throughout. Upon completion of<\/strong> the bootcamps, participants will receive a certificate of attendance<\/strong> and the career week<\/strong> will follow, with representatives of companies that are hiring directly. The submission of applications has already started and will remain open<\/strong> until 5 September 2023<\/strong>. Applications will be evaluated<\/strong> and accepted on a first-come, first-served<\/strong> basis.<\/p>\n
