Incentives<\/strong> for businesses<\/strong> that voluntarily<\/strong> implement<\/strong> the digital working card<\/strong> earlier will be adopted by the \n Ministry of Labour<\/a>\n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

According to reports, the Ministry of Labor is promoting the abolition of the posting in “Ergani”<\/strong> of a number of forms, including the announcement of overtime as an incentive<\/strong> for \n small businesses<\/a>\n<\/strong> that adopt the digital work card. The aim is to avoid bureaucracy<\/strong>, as the digital card will allow the actual working hours of employees to be reflected in real time in the “Ergani<\/a>” system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Digital work card – The advantages<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

“The digital job card<\/strong> should be implemented everywhere<\/strong>,” Labour Minister Mr. Ad. Georgiadis This is because it is the “shield” for the defence of workers’ rights<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Referring to the advantages of the digital card, Mr. Georgiades notes that the recording of overtime is done in real time<\/strong>. In contrast, with the system of prior notice<\/strong> – which is currently in force – the burden of the declaration is on the company<\/strong> and it is possible that for various reasons this schedule<\/strong> will not be followed<\/strong> and then there will be errors and corrections.<\/p>\n\n

The ministry therefore supports the decision<\/strong> of companies to opt for the digital work card, so that all employees’ working time is recorded to the nearest second<\/strong>, so that overtime is paid in full.<\/p>\n\n

The bill<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

It should be noted that the use of the digital card is mandatory<\/strong>. But its implementation requires time and adaptation of<\/strong> business sectors to the new reality.<\/p>\n\n

For this reason, in the bill<\/strong> that the Ministry of Labour<\/strong> will bring to the Parliament during the summer, incentives<\/strong> – mainly of a bureaucratic type – will be introduced<\/strong> for companies<\/strong> that voluntarily<\/strong> implement the card before their turn comes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
