103,310 applications have been approved<\/strong> for the redemption of vouchers under the programme: Recycle – Change Heating Systems<\/strong>. Beneficiaries will see significant \n reductions in electricity bills<\/a>\n<\/strong>. It is estimated that electricity consumption for hot water use<\/strong> will be reduced by around 65% per household<\/strong>. In terms of environmental benefits for the country, it is estimated that carbon dioxide (CO2) will be reduced by 200,000 tonnes per year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The applications for the Recycle – ChangeZO Water Heaters by Region<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The approved applications have a total budget of EUR 107.700.071<\/strong> and relating to all regions of the country. <\/strong>Specifically, 7 302 applications<\/strong> come from Eastern Macedonia & Thrace<\/strong>, 26.354 from Attica<\/strong>, 2.785<\/strong> from the North Aegean<\/strong>, 9.577<\/strong> from the Western Greece<\/strong>, 3.420<\/strong> from the Western Macedonia<\/strong>, 4.381<\/strong> from the Continent<\/strong>, 7.603<\/strong> from the Thessaly<\/strong>, 2.487<\/strong> of the Ionian Islands<\/strong>, 16.166<\/strong> from the Central Macedonia<\/strong>, 7.110<\/strong> from the Crete<\/strong>, 2.738<\/strong> from the South Aegean<\/strong>, 6,757<\/strong> from the Peloponnese<\/strong> and 6,630<\/strong> from Central Greece<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The final lists of eligible and runner-up beneficiaries of the Recycle – Change – Change Water Heaters<\/strong> programme are posted on the programme’s website <\/strong>: \n https:\/\/allazothermosifona.gov.gr\/exelixi\/apotelesmata-axiologisis\/<\/strong>\n<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The lists have been drawn up by region and by budget category, with a ranking based on the score of each application. At the same time, beneficiaries of the programme are informed via SMS <\/strong>on their mobile phone.<\/p>\n\n

With the posting of the final lists, the beneficiaries receive, immediately, the special cheques<\/strong>, which cover part of the total cost of the purchase of the new solar water heater, as well as the directly related and necessary services (installation, etc.) from the approved suppliers participating in the program.<\/p>\n\n

The majority of households<\/strong> had the right to participate in the Recycle – ChangeZO Water Heater<\/strong>. Social criteria<\/strong> were applied and special care was taken for vulnerable households<\/strong>, families<\/strong> with a disabled member<\/strong> and large families<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The Recycle – ChangeZO Water Heaters<\/strong> has available 100 million budget. euros<\/strong>, from the NSRF 2014-2020. However, due to its increase by 8% (after the completion of the objections procedure), applications totalling EUR 107.700.071 are covered by the programme<\/strong>.
