This is the  <strong>first Circular Economy Fund in Greece<\/strong>,  <strong>initial capital of EUR 30,5 million<\/strong>, with the investment  <strong>participation of<\/strong> <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/hdb.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hellenic Development Investment Bank<\/a>\n<\/strong> S.A. (e.g. TANEO) and <strong>10 other investors<\/strong> from <strong>Greece<\/strong> and <strong>abroad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3C3;&#x3C4;&#x3CC;&#x3C7;&#x3BF;&#x3C2;-&#x3C4;&#x3BF;&#x3C5;-fund\"><strong>Objective of the fund<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Combining<\/strong> <strong>flexible financial instruments<\/strong>,  <strong>specialised consultancy and a holistic ESG\/SDG methodology<\/strong> for measuring positive impact, has been recognised internationally as <strong>best practice<\/strong>, focusing on <strong>high value-added investments for SMEs<\/strong>, <strong>investors<\/strong> and the <strong>local economy<\/strong> as a whole.  <strong>Mission of<\/strong> the  <strong>SPOROS<\/strong> is to  <strong>support the sustainable development of<\/strong> the  the <strong>real economy in Greece<\/strong> and the wider region, strengthening the  the <strong>transition of<\/strong> creative businesses to  A <strong>circular economy<\/strong>, aiming at:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the resilience<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>innovation<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>export orientation, and<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the creation of quality jobs in our country<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>. <strong>SPOROS<\/strong> <strong>bases its investment strategy<\/strong> on the <strong>needs of productive businesses<\/strong> for more <strong>efficient financial tools<\/strong>, combined with<strong> technology transfer and specialized training<\/strong>, unlocking the potential for <strong>further leverage and competitive international expansion<\/strong>.  <strong>It focuses<\/strong> on specific  <strong>sectors with untapped export potential<\/strong>, wide scope for improving the environmental footprint and  <strong>catalytic importance for the acceleration of cyclicality<\/strong>, emphasizing:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/energy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Net Energy<\/a> &amp; Value Chains<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Blue Growth &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/tourism-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sustainable Tourism<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bio-economy &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/processing-of-agricultural-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Agri-Food<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Industrial Symbiosis &amp; Industrial Symbiosis <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/manufacturing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Manufacturing<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Chemicals-Plastics &amp; e-waste<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B5;&#x3BD;&#x3B4;&#x3C5;&#x3C4;&#x3AD;&#x3C2;-&#x3B3;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;-&#x3C4;&#x3B7;-&#x3B4;&#x3C1;&#x3AC;&#x3C3;&#x3B7;-sporos\"><strong>Investors for the SPOROS action<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Anchor<\/strong> Investor in the <strong>SPOROS Platform<\/strong> is the <strong>Hellenic Development Bank of Greece<\/strong> (EATE). There are also <strong>10 private investors from Greece and abroad<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>systemic banks<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>institutional investors<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>financial institutions; and  <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>key stakeholders from the shipping and international impact investing industry<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>The SPOROS team has already prepared its first investments<\/strong> in the sectors of <strong>electronics<\/strong> <strong>reuse<\/strong> and <strong>sustainable agri-food<\/strong> with <strong>green energy production<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>During the signing of the investment agreement between EATE and <strong>SPOROS<\/strong>, EATE&#8217;s President Dr. Haris Lambropoulos and the managing director Mrs. Antigoni Liberopoulou, who said:<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;It is <strong>important<\/strong> that the <strong>SPOROS Platform AKE\u03a3<\/strong> <strong>consists of a young and dynamic team<\/strong> that aims to invest in the transition to the circular economy.
