{"id":24995,"date":"2023-07-28T13:06:17","date_gmt":"2023-07-28T13:06:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/espa.io\/eurobank-development-bank-two-new-financing-tools-for-smes\/"},"modified":"2023-07-28T13:06:17","modified_gmt":"2023-07-28T13:06:17","slug":"eurobank-development-bank-two-new-financing-tools-for-smes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/eurobank-development-bank-two-new-financing-tools-for-smes\/","title":{"rendered":"Eurobank &#8211; Development Bank: Two new financing tools for SMEs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/eurobank-anaptyksiaki-trapeza-dyo-nea-xrimatodotika-ergaleia-gia-mikromesaies-epixeiriseis-1024x676.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Two new financial programmes<\/strong> for the <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/information-communications-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>digital transformation<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/enviornment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>green transition<\/strong><\/a> of for <strong>small and medium-sized enterprises <\/strong> <strong>Eurobank<\/strong>, in cooperation with <strong>Hellenic Development<\/strong> Bank (HDB), in the framework of the Portfolio Fund <strong>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bgf.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Business Growth Fund<\/a>&#8220;<\/strong> and in particular through the financial instruments <strong>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bankofthessaly.gr\/sites\/default\/files\/psifiakis_daneia.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital Upgrade Loans<\/a>&#8220;<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/hdb.gr\/growth-fund-green-co-financing-loans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Green Co-Financed Loans<\/a>&#8220;<\/strong> of the above <strong>Portfolio Fund<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>common<\/strong> denominator of the two schemes is that, <strong>in an upward cycle of interest rates<\/strong>, each eligible company can <strong>secure lower financing costs<\/strong> and a long-term repayment horizon with a <strong>capital grace period of up to 24 months<\/strong>. Due to the co-financing of the Fund:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>40% of the loan is granted interest-free<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>while for the remaining amount of the loan (60%) a two-year interest rate subsidy of 3% is provided by the Fund.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>The loans from Eurobank and the Development Bank<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Lending under the <strong>Green Co-financed Loans<\/strong> Fund ranges between <strong>EUR 80,000 &#8211; 8 million euros<\/strong>, while lending under the <strong>Digital Upgrade Loans<\/strong> Fund between <strong>EUR 25,000 &#8211; 1 million euros<\/strong>. The aim is to support and develop the business activity of SMEs on favourable terms, <strong>with an additional two-year subsidy of part of the interest rate<\/strong>, for the implementation of investment projects, namely:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Green Co-financed Loans<\/strong>: for the implementation of the company&#8217;s investment plan in Green Transition projects and, in particular, in one and\/or more of the following categories of actions included in the three sub-programmes of the Fund:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Green Mobility Loans (Green Mobility Loans)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Loans for Energy Upgrade (Loans for Energy Upgrade)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Loans for Green Renewable Energy (Loans for Green Renewable Energy)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital Upgrade Loans: for the implementation of an investment plan of the company, aiming at the digitalisation and digital upgrading of its operations\/activities, increasing its productivity, its growth and the creation of new jobs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For <strong>more information on the terms and conditions<\/strong> of membership of the above programmes, interested parties can find more information at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurobank.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>www.eurobank.gr<\/strong><\/a> | <strong>New Financial Programmes<\/strong> of EAT and at the Bank&#8217;s Network branches.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>supported financing<\/strong> is carried out by the funds called &#8220;<strong>Green Co-financed Loans<\/strong>&#8221; &amp; &#8220;<strong>Digital Upgrade Loans<\/strong>&#8221; managed by the Hellenic Development Bank with resources <strong>funded by the Greek State<\/strong> through the <strong>Public Investment Programme and the European Investment Bank<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two new financial programmes for the digital transformation and green transition of for small and medium-sized enterprises Eurobank, in cooperation with Hellenic Development Bank (HDB), in the framework of the Portfolio Fund &#8220;Business Growth Fund&#8220; and in particular through the financial instruments &#8220;Digital Upgrade Loans&#8220; and &#8220;Green Co-Financed Loans&#8220; of the above Portfolio Fund.
