{"id":23887,"date":"2023-07-21T14:21:58","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T14:21:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/espa.io\/nbg-business-seeds-applications-open-for-the-14th-innovation-and-technology-competition\/"},"modified":"2023-07-21T14:50:35","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T14:50:35","slug":"nbg-business-seeds-applications-open-for-the-14th-innovation-and-technology-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/nbg-business-seeds-applications-open-for-the-14th-innovation-and-technology-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"NBG Business Seeds: applications open for the 14th Innovation and Technology Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/nbg-business-seeds-enarski-aitiseon-14ou-diagonismou-kainotomias-kai-texnologias-1024x688.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The National Bank of Greece announced the <strong>launch of the 14th Innovation &amp; Innovation Competition<\/strong> Technology of the <strong>NBG Business Seeds<\/strong> programme <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbg.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Bank of Greece<\/a><\/strong>, the <strong>longest running Innovation Competition of a Greek institution,<\/strong> in which 7,520 participants have already participated.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The aim<\/strong> of the competition is <strong>tohighlight and reward original ideas, research results, business plans and companies<\/strong> that contribute to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the development of innovative systems and applications based on new technologies<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>integrating an ESG approach into the design of products and services<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the spread of the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/information-communications-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new information and communication technologies<\/a>; and <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>more generally in the promotion of innovation in Greece<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B8;&#x3B5;&#x3BC;&#x3B1;&#x3C4;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3AD;&#x3C2;-&#x3C4;&#x3BF;&#x3C5;-&#x3B4;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;&#x3B3;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;&#x3B9;&#x3C3;&#x3BC;&#x3BF;&#x3CD;-nbg-business-seeds\"><strong>Themes of the competition<\/strong> <strong>NBG Business Seeds<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The themes of the competition are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>e-Business ESG<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Environment and Technology<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Culture and Technology<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Participants<\/strong> in the competition are invited to <strong>information, introduction and guidance<\/strong> <strong>activities<\/strong> by experienced National Bank staff and programme partners:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>KEME\u039b<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Archimedes Centre of the University of Athens<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Onassis Foundation<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>National Documentation Centre<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>HIGGS, OK!<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CapsuleT<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bayer Greece<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mastercard<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NGB Pay and <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>45 other bodies and organisations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In the framework of the competition, the <strong>first four proposals<\/strong> receive cash prizes of <strong>\u20ac20,000, \u20ac10,000, \u20ac6,000 and \u20ac4,000 respectively<\/strong>, <strong>after evaluation<\/strong> by University professors and executives of the National Bank of Greece. The <strong>first ten proposals receive significant visibility and guidance<\/strong> from Bank staff.
