The organisation New Agriculture New Generation<\/a><\/strong> invites farmers<\/strong>, farmers<\/a><\/strong>, beekeepers<\/strong>, cottage industries<\/strong>, cooperatives<\/strong> and producer<\/strong> groups<\/strong>, who process or wish to process<\/a><\/strong> their production, to submit their application for participation in the Agroanelexis-Farmers of the Future<\/strong> agri-food<\/strong> acceleration programme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The deadline for submissions<\/strong> is Sunday 16 July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

To date, 57 businesses and cottage industries from all over Greece<\/strong> have been supported<\/strong> through the programme. In addition to business training<\/strong>, mentoring<\/strong> and personalised consultancy services<\/strong>, the businesses have received a total of \u20ac256,000 in financial support<\/strong> for the development of new services and products. As a result, over 65 new food products have been developed<\/strong> and are currently on the market.<\/p>\n\n

. fourth cycle of Agroevolution<\/strong>, entitled Farmers of the Future<\/strong>, is addressed to small producers and collective groups<\/strong> from all over Greece who want to develop their existing products and\/or create new differentiated products<\/strong> based on the special raw materials of the Greek land and place them on the market.<\/p>\n\n

Businesses will participate in training workshops, during which they will receive practical business knowledge<\/strong>, stimuli and guidance<\/strong> for the creation of new differentiated products, as well as advice from experienced market executives, based on their specific needs.<\/p>\n\n

For further development and product development, project participants will be supported to prepare their application for inclusion in a microfinance programme by the Action inclusion<\/a><\/strong> in a microfinance programme by the (AFI).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The programme supports agri-food businesses<\/strong> aiming at shaping a new business mindset<\/strong> in the sector and developing new diversified food products through sustainable business efforts.<\/p>\n\n
