weeks<\/strong> are left for <strong>interested SMEs<\/strong> to submit their <strong>applications for participation<\/strong> in the <strong>OPAP Forward<\/strong> programme, as the deadline is <strong>Friday, 14 July 2023, at 12 n<\/strong>oon.<\/p>\n\n<p>The submission of applications for participation is done <strong>online<\/strong> via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opapcsr.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>www.opapcsr.gr<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Companies selected to attend the <strong>sixth cycle of the programme<\/strong> will gain a unique perspective on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>grow<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>create new jobs<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>and thus strengthen the Greek market<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3C4;&#x3BF;-&#x3C0;&#x3C1;&#x3CC;&#x3B3;&#x3C1;&#x3B1;&#x3BC;&#x3BC;&#x3B1;-&#x3BF;&#x3C0;&#x3B1;&#x3C0;-forward\"><strong>The programme<\/strong> <strong>OPAP Forward<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In particular, the programme will provide them with:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Comprehensive guidance through a network of successful entrepreneurs and senior market executives<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Training seminars in areas such as strategy, finance and HR management, marketing and sales, branding and communication<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access to financial instruments in cooperation with the National Bank of Greece<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access to international markets<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Networking activities both with other participants and with other entrepreneurs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3BA;&#x3C1;&#x3B9;&#x3C4;&#x3AE;&#x3C1;&#x3B9;&#x3B1;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B9;&#x3BB;&#x3BF;&#x3B3;&#x3AE;&#x3C2;-&#x3C4;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3BD;&#x3AD;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3B5;&#x3C4;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;&#x3C1;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;&#x3CE;&#x3BD;\"><strong>Selection criteria for new companies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>OPAP Forward<\/strong> programme is aimed at <strong>growing<\/strong> SMEs with <strong>a turnover of less than EUR 50 million euros<\/strong>, irrespective of the sector in which they operate.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Particular emphasis<\/strong> is placed <strong>on<\/strong> those <strong>areas<\/strong> where <strong>Greece has a competitive advantage<\/strong>, such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/food-industry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">food and drink sector<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the industry<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/trade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">trade<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/hospitality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">catering<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/tourism-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tourism<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the retail<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/farming-sector\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">agricultural production<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>and in sectors with growth potential, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/information-communications-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new technologies<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3B2;&#x3B5;&#x3BB;&#x3C4;&#x3AF;&#x3C9;&#x3C3;&#x3B7;-&#x3BF;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3BF;&#x3BD;&#x3BF;&#x3BC;&#x3B9;&#x3BA;&#x3CE;&#x3BD;-&#x3B5;&#x3C0;&#x3B9;&#x3B4;&#x3CC;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3C9;&#x3BD;-&#x3BA;&#x3B1;&#x3B9;-&#x3BD;&#x3AD;&#x3B5;&#x3C2;-&#x3B8;&#x3AD;&#x3C3;&#x3B5;&#x3B9;&#x3C2;-&#x3B5;&#x3C1;&#x3B3;&#x3B1;&#x3C3;&#x3AF;&#x3B1;&#x3C2;\"><strong>Improved economic performance and new jobs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Specifically, the participating companies have managed to create <strong>2,847 new direct jobs<\/strong> and, through the partnerships developed, support<strong> 23,083 new indirect jobs<\/strong>.
