{"id":23496,"date":"2023-07-17T14:39:28","date_gmt":"2023-07-17T14:39:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/espa.io\/stars4sd-competition-for-young-entrepreneurs\/"},"modified":"2023-07-17T14:39:28","modified_gmt":"2023-07-17T14:39:28","slug":"stars4sd-competition-for-young-entrepreneurs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/stars4sd-competition-for-young-entrepreneurs\/","title":{"rendered":"STARS4SD: Competition for young entrepreneurs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/stars4sd-diagonismo-gia-neous-epixeirimaties-1024x523.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/business_type\/new-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Young and young entrepreneurs<\/a>, 18-35 years old<\/strong>, are invited by the CMOP &#8211; <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmop.gr\/el\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Centre for Social Action and Innovation<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amazingyouth.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amazing Youth<\/a><\/strong> to participate, <strong>until 20 June 2023<\/strong>, in the <strong>STARS4SD Awards, which are being held within the framework of a European project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Entrepreneurs<\/strong> are invited to <strong>share<\/strong> their own <strong>sustainability story<\/strong> and <strong>apply for<\/strong> <strong>participation<\/strong> in <strong>European training programmes<\/strong> on <strong>youth entrepreneurship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The aim is to <strong>reward businesses<\/strong> that incorporate the principle of sustainability in their activities, operations and practices, and to <strong>help them become more widely known<\/strong> in Greece and Europe.<\/p>\n\n<p>Specifically, businesses will be assessed on the basis of their adoption of the following five Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>providing quality education<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>gender equality<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>decent work and economic growth<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>reducing inequalities<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>responsible consumption and production<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The <strong>deadline for submission of applications is Tuesday 20 June 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x3C4;&#x3B1;-&#x3B2;&#x3C1;&#x3B1;&#x3B2;&#x3B5;&#x3AF;&#x3B1;\"><strong>The awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The two <strong>winners of the competition<\/strong> will have the opportunity to <strong>participate free of charge in European training programmes<\/strong> on youth entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The first winner will travel to an EU country<\/strong> (the exact place and time will be finalised in the coming months) to attend training and meet other young entrepreneurs from Europe. <strong>The second one will attend a 4-day training programme that will take place in October 2023, in Monemvasia<\/strong>. It is noted that in both cases all expenses will be paid.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>winners will be selected at a special event to be held in early July,<\/strong> where the finalists will have the opportunity to present their initiative to the jury, other entrepreneurs and the wider public. <strong>Winners will also have the opportunity to prepare a video of their business story<\/strong>, which will be presented at the <strong>final Stars4SD conference in Brussels in November 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Young and young entrepreneurs, 18-35 years old, are invited by the CMOP &#8211; Centre for Social Action and Innovation and the Amazing Youth to participate, until 20 June 2023, in the STARS4SD Awards, which are being held within the framework of a European project.
