The platform will remain open<\/strong> for the submission of applications for the Social Tourism Programme for Employees-Unemployed 2023\/24<\/strong> of PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT SERVICE<\/a><\/strong>, from Friday 9 June at 17:00 until Sunday 11 June at 23:59<\/strong>, for those beneficiaries and providers who did not have time to submit their application before the deadline of last Monday 5 June<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The selection of beneficiaries is based on the prioritisation of specific criteria<\/strong> (disabled, single parent, number of children, income) through the Integrated Information System (IIS<\/strong> ) of the DYPA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

From 1 July<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

For the first time, the programme will start one month earlier (1 July instead of 1 August)<\/strong> and will cover 300,000 cheques<\/strong> with a budget of \u20ac35 million. euro.<\/p>\n\n

Beneficiaries-beneficiaries can spend up to 6 nights<\/strong> in accommodation of their choice from the NYPA Provider Register<\/strong>, upon agreement with the provider, with a small private contribution.<\/p>\n\n

Especially for accommodation in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos and Evros, up to 10 nights can be stayed<\/strong> completely free of charge, while in the accommodation of Municipalities of Istiaiaia-Aidipsos and Mantoudi-Limni-Agios Ioannis. Anna of B. Evia and Samos<\/strong> up to 12 nights<\/strong> can be booked free of charge.<\/p>\n\n

Increased subsidy<\/strong> at<\/strong> Social Tourism Programme<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Subsidy rates remain increased by 20% for the peak month of August<\/strong>, as last year. In addition, for the first time they are increased by 20%<\/strong> also during the Christmas<\/strong> (from 15.12.2023 to 14.01.2024) and Easter<\/strong> (from 26.04.2024 to 12.05.2024) periods<\/strong>, while the increase<\/strong> is valid for the whole<\/strong> year<\/strong> for the accommodations of \u0392. Evia and Samos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to accommodation in tourist accommodation, ferry tickets are also subsidised<\/strong>. The contribution of beneficiaries is 25% and 20% for large families. For people with disabilities, ferry tickets are free of charge.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
