Fifty-two million. Euro to boost the digital skills of public and private sector workers<\/strong> calls 6 and 7, respectively, of the Special Management Agency of the Digital Transformation 2021-2027 Programme<\/a> of the NSRF<\/strong>, which is implemented under the supervision of the General Secretariat for Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures<\/a><\/strong> of the Ministry of Digital Governance. The actions will be implemented in the framework of the National Alliance for Digital Skills and Employment, while overall through the Digital Transformation 2021-2027 Programme<\/strong> 113 million will be given to boost digital skills. euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The public sector<\/strong> on digital skills<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

In particular, through call 6 of the Programme Digital Transformation<\/strong> those interested can, from 1 June 2023 until the end of the current year<\/strong>, to submit proposals aimed at enhancing the digital skills of all civil servants, including executives of local authorities, in cooperation with the KEDE, medical and nursing staff of the public sector, as well as other special groups of public servants, e.g. clergy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The aim of the above-mentioned action, with a total budget of \u20ac20 million, is to Euro, is to upgrade the digital skills of public sector workers<\/strong> for all levels (basic, advanced, specific training), by public policy area, educational level and sector.<\/p>\n\n

The aim<\/strong> is to accelerate the integration of new technologies<\/a> and the digital transformation of the public administration<\/strong>, to further improve the provision of public e-services, the effective use of electronic tools and applications<\/strong> for teleworking and participation in distance learning, as well as to promote the mobility of civil servants.<\/p>\n\n

In particular, through the upgrading of the digital skills of local authority employees, the added value of innovation and technology<\/strong> is sought to be exploited<\/strong>, both in their daily work\/service delivery to citizens and in the implementation and use of applications for “smart cities” funded through Call 01_”Digital Transformation of Local Authorities”.<\/p>\n\n

The private sector<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Similarly, through Call 7 of the Digital Transformation Programme, the call for proposals to enhance the digital skills of private sector workers<\/strong> will start on 16 June<\/strong>, with a total budget of \u20ac32 million. euro.<\/p>\n\n

The aim<\/strong> is to implement actions for the upskilling of the digital skills of private sector employees<\/strong>, who are of medium and high digital maturity, based on the requirements of the labour market in the coming years. To this end, the aim is to exploit and manage innovative digital technologies,<\/strong> but also to empower employees on cybersecurity issues.<\/p>\n\n

Beneficiaries are expected to participate in a certification process in accordance with the legislation in force<\/strong>, while it is underlined that the action foresees a 20% participation rate for female employees in line with the European Action Plan for Digital Education and the Digital Decade.<\/p>\n\n

It should be noted that the projects included in both actions<\/strong> of the Digital Transformation<\/strong> Programme concern the whole country<\/strong>, are in line<\/strong> with the Digital Transformation Paper<\/strong> and have been approved by the Minister of Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures, Leonidas Christopoulos, as priorities for co-financing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
