The BASF<\/strong>, the leading chemical company, organizes, for for the third year<\/strong>, the BASF Innovation Hub 2023<\/a> innovation competition<\/strong>, with the support of<\/strong> the \n Association of Greek Chemical Industries<\/a>\n<\/strong>. The competition is aimed at \n startups<\/a>\n<\/strong> as well as young researchers and scientists from 11 countries in Central and Southern Europe, including Greece. This year<\/strong>, the theme of the competition<\/strong> focuses on those solutions that contribute to green technological transformation<\/a> (cleantech)<\/strong>, the circular economy<\/strong> and sustainable<\/strong> agriculture<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

With the Innovation Hub competition, we want to support<\/strong> and give opportunities to new, emerging startups<\/strong> to showcase their ideas, aiming for a greener and cleaner future, and of course to benefit from our extensive experience and networking”, Mr. Vassilis Goounaris, CEO of BASF Hellas.<\/p>\n\n

“We are delighted that this year again new ideas with an impact on green technological transformation are given the opportunity to participate in a prestigious competition<\/strong> organised in Europe by a leading company,” said Mr. Panagiotis Skarlatos, Director General of the Association of Greek Chemical Industries.<\/p>\n\n

Dates and conditions for participation in the BASF competition<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The deadline for submitting applications<\/strong> for the Innovation Hub 2023 competition started on 30 May and will run until midnight on 29 September 2023<\/strong>. Participation<\/strong> is open<\/strong> to individual researchers\/scientists or start-ups<\/strong> and the only condition<\/strong> for participation is that the members of the start-up or individual participants must be over 18 years old<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Participants from Greece<\/strong> will have the opportunity to present their ideas together with participants from Bulgaria and Romania<\/strong>. Two winners will automatically qualify for the Grand Final<\/strong>, where they will again present their ideas, along with the other winners from 11 countries in Central and South-Eastern Europe<\/strong>. The winner of the Grand Final will receive a prize of \u20ac5,000 gross<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
