{"id":23306,"date":"2023-07-14T10:53:16","date_gmt":"2023-07-14T10:53:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/espa.io\/six-programmes-with-68000-new-jobs\/"},"modified":"2023-07-14T10:53:16","modified_gmt":"2023-07-14T10:53:16","slug":"six-programmes-with-68000-new-jobs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/six-programmes-with-68000-new-jobs\/","title":{"rendered":"Six programmes with 68,000 new jobs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/dypa-exi-programmata-me-68000-nees-theseis-ergasias-1-1024x538.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong>A total of 68,000 new jobs will be created by the 6 new programmes of the CIFA<\/strong> to boost employment. <strong>Three<\/strong> of them <strong>will be &#8220;run&#8221;<\/strong> by <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/aid_type\/public-employment-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Public Employment Service<\/a>\n<\/strong> (DYPA) <strong>as early as Wednesday<\/strong>. The <strong>funding<\/strong> comes from the <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.minfin.gr\/tameio-anakampses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Recovery and Resilience Fund<\/a>\n<\/strong>which <strong>amounts to 490 million euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Some <strong>68,000 beneficiaries of the programmes are unemployed<\/strong>. Particular emphasis is placed on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>to long-term unemployed people<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>to young people<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>in women<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>people with disabilities and other vulnerable population groups<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>to unemployed people in areas of high unemployment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>With these programmes, the <strong>DYPA<\/strong> finds a &#8220;Job for you&#8221;, as is the slogan of the information campaign, to businesses that are invited to take advantage of the incentives and apply on the relevant platform.  <strong>The new actions subsidise the creation of new jobs and the recruitment of unemployed people.<\/strong> In this way, they actively <strong>support<\/strong> <strong>businesses<\/strong> to keep the <strong>economy moving, to keep the whole country moving<\/strong> and to keep the <strong>country<\/strong> moving forward.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>On Wednesday, 7 December 2022<\/strong>, the <strong>first three upgraded<\/strong> employment support <strong>programmes<\/strong> will start.They will lead to the <strong>creation of 30,000 new jobs<\/strong>.<strong>Three more programmes will be launched<\/strong> in the New Year, <strong>creating<\/strong> <strong>37,750 additional new<\/strong> jobs.<\/p>\n\n<p>The 3 programmes starting<\/p>\n\n<p>In particular, on <strong>Wednesday at 13:00<\/strong> the <strong>submission of online applications<\/strong> for the following programmes <strong>opens<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Work subsidy programme for 10,000 long-term unemployed people aged 45 and over in areas of high unemployment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The total <strong>budget<\/strong> amounts to  <strong>120 million euros<\/strong>. <strong>The scheme will finance up to 80% of salary and contributions for 18 months. <\/strong>Note that there is an <strong>obligation to<\/strong> <strong>maintain the<\/strong> <strong>position<\/strong> for <strong>6 months<\/strong>. The <strong>maximum<\/strong> <strong>grant<\/strong> is <strong>EUR 13,709 per job<\/strong> <strong>Priority<\/strong> will be given to <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/energy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">enterprises in the green sector<\/a>\n<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/espa.io\/en\/c\/information-communications-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>digital<\/strong> <strong>economy<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Work experience programme for 10,000 unemployed 18-30 year olds aiming at upgrading the qualifications and preparing 10,000 young people, at least graduates of compulsory education, for integration into the labour market<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The total budget amounts to <strong>68 million. euros<\/strong>. The programme will <strong>last<\/strong> <strong>7 months<\/strong>. CYPA will <strong>pay<\/strong> the beneficiaries a <strong>monthly<\/strong> <strong>allowance<\/strong> equal to the <strong>legal<\/strong> <strong>minimum<\/strong> <strong>net salary with full social security contributions<\/strong>, as well as a <strong>proportion of holiday bonuses<\/strong> and <strong>holiday allowance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Work subsidy programme for 10,000 unemployed people facing significant obstacles to their integration or reintegration into the labour market<\/p>\n\n<p>The total <strong>budget<\/strong> amounts to  <strong>112 million. euros<\/strong>  and has a dual purpose:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>3,000 unemployed people belonging to specific and vulnerable social groups<\/strong> (e.g. people with disabilities, drug addicts, victims of gender violence or human trafficking, etc.). <strong>The scheme will finance up to 75% of the salary and contributions for 24 months<\/strong> with an obligation to keep the job for 8 months. The <strong>maximum grant is \u20ac16,800<\/strong> per job.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>7,000 unemployed people facing serious obstacles to their integration or reintegration into the labour market<\/strong> (e.g. single-parent families, mothers returning to the labour market after bringing up their children, the long-term unemployed, unemployed people over 55 years old, unemployed people without compulsory education, Roma, etc.). <strong>The scheme will fund up to 75% of salary and contributions for 12 months <\/strong>with <strong>an obligation to<\/strong> <strong>maintain the<\/strong> <strong>position for 4 months<\/strong>. The maximum grant is \u20ac8,400 per job.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The labour subsidy schemes are aimed at private enterprises and general private sector employers who are regularly engaged in economic activity.<\/p>\n\n<p>For the <strong>employment of people with disabilities<\/strong>, the beneficiaries are additionally the <strong>enterprises<\/strong> <strong>of Local Authorities of the first and second degree<\/strong>. For the work experience programme, the beneficiaries are additionally Social and Solidarity Economy organisations.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The 3 programmes to be launched in 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, the other three programmes funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund will be launched in 2023, as follows:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Job subsidy programme for 5,000 unemployed, aged 18-66, with a focus on the green economy and women<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>budget<\/strong> amounts to <strong>50 million euros<\/strong>. <strong>The programme will fund up to 80% of the salary costs for a period of 15 months<\/strong> with an obligation to maintain the post for a further 5 months after the end of the grant.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Comprehensive skills upgrading-retraining and short-term employment programme for 15,000 unemployed people (25-45 years old)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The budget amounts to <strong>92 million. euros<\/strong>. <strong>The programme will fund up to 100% of the salary costs for a period of 6 months<\/strong> with an obligation to maintain the post for 2 additional months after the end of the grant.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Pilot programmes of combined actions (counselling, certified training and employment) in at least four cities in the Greek territory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The first cycle concerns <strong>17,750 unemployed with a total budget of \u20ac45 million euros<\/strong>, while the programmes will remain open until the budget is exhausted.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>How businesses can apply to participate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Employers<\/strong> interested in participating can submit their application <strong>exclusively online<\/strong> either:<\/p>\n\n<p>a) through the e-services platform of the Public Works Department (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dypa.gov.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>dypa.gov.gr<\/strong><\/a>) or<\/p>\n\n<p>b) through the Single Digital Portal of the Greek public sector <a href=\"http:\/\/gov.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>gov.gr<\/strong><\/a> using their personal <strong>TAXISnet<\/strong> codes<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Getting into the service is easy<\/strong>. The user from the website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dypa.gov.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>dypa.gov.gr<\/strong><\/a> enters the platform <a href=\"https:\/\/eservices.oaed.gr\/pls\/apex\/f?p=1001:1:0:::::\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>CYPA e-services<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>selects &#8220;User login to the system&#8221;.<\/strong> Then he\/she chooses to log in to the <strong>System through certification by the AADE<\/strong>, clicks on &#8220;<strong>Login to AADE<\/strong>&#8221; and fills in the <strong>TAXISnet<\/strong> passwords through the following link: https: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.gr\/ipiresies\/epikheirematike-drasterioteta\/apaskholese-prosopikou\/summetokhe-epikheireseon-ergodoton-se-programmata-katartises-anergon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>\/\/www.gov.gr\/ipiresies\/epikheirematike-drasterioteta\/apaskholese-prosopikou\/summetokhe-epikheireseon-ergodoton-se-programmata-katartises-anergon<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>After logging into<\/strong> the system, the user sees <strong>the basic details of his\/her business<\/strong> on the home screen. They will need to <strong>confirm\/update these details in the Registry<\/strong> before completing their application. Once all the fields have been filled in, the user <strong>selects<\/strong> from the &#8220;Select a new application to submit&#8221; tab the <strong>field<\/strong> with the <strong>program<\/strong> he\/she <strong>wants<\/strong> to <strong>apply<\/strong> <strong>to<\/strong> from the <strong>list<\/strong>. A <strong>detailed guide is available<\/strong> on the platform, which guides the user step by step for the final submission of the application.<\/p>\n\n<p>After the application is submitted, the <strong>DYPA<\/strong> <strong>confirms<\/strong> that <strong>the employer meets the requirements<\/strong> and the DYPA&#8217;s job counsellors nominate <strong>candidates<\/strong> with the specialty and qualifications declared by the employer.
