Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to the economic measures<\/strong> to be taken by the government, which have a four-year horizon<\/strong>, during the debate on the programmatic statements. One of these is tax cuts. <\/p>\n\n

The next four-year measures include an increase of the tax-free allowance by 1,000 euros<\/strong> \n for families with children<\/a>\n<\/strong> for 700,000 taxpayers, with a benefit of \u20ac90<\/strong> for a family<\/strong> with one child<\/strong>, a benefit of \u20ac220<\/strong> with two<\/strong> or more children<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Furthermore, a new 10% reduction<\/strong> in ENFIA<\/a><\/strong> is coming for homes insured against natural disasters<\/strong>, while former beneficiaries of the \n EKAS\u0398<\/a>\n<\/strong> are permanently exempted from pharmaceutical costs.<\/p>\n\n

Furthermore, it is planned to gradually abolish the tax on taxable income<\/strong>, which will be reduced by 20%<\/strong> in 2024<\/strong>, by 30%<\/strong> in 2025<\/strong> and 50%<\/strong> in 2026<\/strong>, while from 01\/01\/2025 the 30% reduction of presumptions will be applied.<\/p>\n\n

What are the tax cuts<\/strong> and when<\/strong> they will be made<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

From 1 January 2024:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Tax-free increase: \u20ac1,000 for each child<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
      \n
    • 1 child: Tax reduction of EUR 90<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • 2 children: Tax reduction EUR 220<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • 3 children or more: tax reduction of \u20ac220<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      1. 10% reduction in ENFIA: For property insurance<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

        • Application: ENFIA 2024 (premiums 2023)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          1. Phasing out: Business tax<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
              \n
            • 2024: 20% reduction<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • 2025: 30% reduction<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • 2026: 50% reduction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
